I really like them. They look clean and will pair with everything. I really want to get a second paid. Even right after getting my first! They fit great, a tiny bit big in the toe box for me but they don't slip and otherwise feel very comfortable. I wear a 7.5 in Sk8-Hi, and this fits pretty much the same too. I anticipate they will be even more comfortable after breaking in. I am ordering the mesh version as I meant to get them instead of the full canvas/suede B&W version and will compare. I am going on a trip and have an issue with sweaty feet so I want to see if I should return one pair. Edit: there's not a huge different between the mesh and non-mesh (suede) ones, but I'm keeping the mesh ones just in case. They are still very comfortable and a smidge lighter. I noticed that I was standing for ~30 minutes and while my feet hurt a bit my back didn't which I feel is a major benefit. I also noticed a slight issue with my right leg that causes the shoe to feel a little weird but honestly that's my anatomy and nothing about the shoe (left fits like a glove and feels really nice). Okay, tbh, I just bought the Ultrarange (white) shoe from the Vans website and I actually like the Range EXP so much better for some reason. It just feels like overall the higher quality shoe. It also has pull tabs and the mesh suede is so much softer. I want the mesh white to come back because those are what I wanted but they're out of stock for over a month. ... show more

    • Super Stylish but Must Stretch for a Few Weeks to Become Comfortable

****Update on my review. They did indeed loosen up and now are comfortable. I love them so much I bought 3 more pairs. You just have to wear them for a few weeks for them to loosen and become comfortable. So, I am changing my 4 stars to 5 stars. Absolutely love the look of these sneakers. They are very stylish, well made, and make my size 10 feet look smaller. The only issue is they are not the most comfortable shoes after a while. I have super narrow feet but they are tight, which is surprising. No shoe is ever tight on me. I usually walk out of most shoes having such narrow feet. These shoes have become a staple in my family — literally everyone has a pair, from the kids to the adults. That says a lot about how versatile and comfortable they are. Compared to the classic Vans, these definitely have more support and cushioning, which makes a huge difference if you’re walking or standing for long stretches. I’ve worn mine through airports, on trips where I’m walking all day, and even just for casual everyday errands. They’re lightweight enough that your feet don’t feel weighed down, but still structured enough to keep you comfortable. I also like that they look sleek — you can dress them up with jeans or wear them casual with leggings, and they still work. The only minor downside I’ve noticed (and my family agrees) is that the tongue sometimes shifts slightly to the side while walking. It’s not a deal-breaker and could just be the way our feet move, but it’s worth mentioning. Other than that, they hold up really well, and the quality feels solid even after a lot of wear. Pros: great support for long days, versatile style, lightweight but sturdy, unisex appeal. Cons: tongue can shift a little. Overall, these are incredible sneakers, and I’ll definitely be picking up more pairs in different colors. They’ve quickly become my go-to shoes for travel and daily wear. I had these in my cart for awhile and finally broke down and got them. They were instantly comfortable out of the box, no break in time needed. My feet feel perfectly supported and they look so cute on! I think they are extra aesthetically pleasing in the shape. Same Vans quality you know and expect. True to size. My new favorite shoe in my favorite color. A couple of things to note, they have a tall heel tab along the back that comes up toward the ankle. You want to make sure whatever socks you wear come up above that or it may rub and cause a blister there. (I have thicker ankles though so that may not be an issue for everyone) They aren’t for winter. They are breathable and thus let in cold air. My favorite pair of shoes. I ordered shoe inserts thinking I’d need extra support size I have a high arch. I tried these with the inserts and the shoes were just too tight so I removed the insoles and used the inserts with the same result so I decided to just try them the way they are and am glad I did. They have a wide enough toe box, the back doesn’t tear up my heel, they are super grippy so I haven’t slipped. The soles are thick which makes them feel heavy so it might take some adjustment to wear them but I love them. I got them in black and white so they are a good color for work. I really love the shoe, it is comfortable and I enjoy the look of them. These rub on my heel though and make terrible blisters. Even after having them for so long, they still rub and I need to wear bandaids on my heels. Other than that they are GREAT.

I absolutely love Vans, but let’s be honest they are not exactly comfortable for all day wear especially if you are chasing after a toddler. These shoes though are amazing! I chased my 3 year old through the zoo and then the park for HOURS and absolutely no foot pain! They are lightweight, supportive, and hold up well. I wouldn’t recommend running a 5k in them but they are good for a busy day of running around. Also they fit true to size, which is a plus in its own right. ... show more
