Please keep in mind while reading this that these are my first ever pair of Vans Old School. If I seem a little jaded, that’s why. I ordered the solid black suede, I received solid black canvas. I kinda wish I got suede, but absolutely do not have any qualms receiving these. To be honest, it’s probably a huge blessing in disguise since I ride a bmx bike daily. Ok, so “Fits as expected” is an understatement. Big time. These shoes fit perfectly in ever place that counts. The tongue stays put, my toes are snug, but not at all cramped nor does my heel move when I step or pedal. I have at least some arch support and coupled with how perfectly, comfortably snug the shoe is, I will only ever wear Old Schools exclusively from now on. Consider me converted. These are beyond worth it. My shoes and my tires match now, hehe! ... show more

    • Cute, But a tad too wide.
I’ve not had any vans before so didn’t realize they’d be wide. Even with the shoe laces the area around my toes weren’t as snug as I’d prefer, around the ankle was fine.
