I'm writing this review "one month after receiving my order"... and so far for me, this is a true 5-star purchase. Given that my contact lenses bring me to crystal clear, better than 20-20 vision, I still need readers while in my office. So wearing these almost all the time when working, the first thing that impressed me when putting them on was the comfort. The nose bridge is an integrated-molding area that smoothly rests on the nose, with minimal weight and no typical "metal-wire-bridge pain." Additionally, the frame and arms appear very clean and functional. An added plus are the hinges; frame to side-arms. They are the newer spring-loaded design, whereby you can safely "over-flex" outward with the arms, thus preventing typical damage that you'd cause with stiff, fixed open-position frames. As others have noted, the lenses are plastic. But that, I'm sure, is consistent with the reduced weight goal of the manufacturer. So far, and the real test, was to see how long the lenses would remain un-scathed/un-scratched. And after 30 days of constant use, and in and out of my shirt pockets, NO SCRATCHES... optically they're still perfectly clear. I clean with hot water and hand soap. And I take extra-care in avoiding placing the glasses down on or against anything other than in a soft shirt pocket. Both pair do come with a black satchel for storage. So far I've taken only one pair out of the satchel, and use it daily, storing in my shirt pocket, and then at night, safely lenses up on the night table. I've almost always started to see scratching on my prescription glasses and on readers within the first month. For whatever reason, these are still "like new." When I think of how many readers I've purchased over the years, I honestly wish I'd purchased these at the outset. But hindsight is always 20-20... These readers, coupled with my contacts, make a perfect eye-care pair. I highly recommend them. ... show more

I am obsessed with these glasses. I am at the age where I need to wear glasses with a some magnification but didn't want to invest in prescription sunglasses. These are perfect for me. No more sunglasses over reading glasses when I am outside. They are comfortable and perfect for driving.

I have had a love/hate relationship with sunglasses for some time now. I went through a phase with the cool mirrored types and all the name brand shades. And I constantly broke them when I was younger. I don't really have a good explanation for it either. So I gave them up for the most part. In my later years, I have again come to appreciate a good pair of quality sunglasses but I was now at the stage of life where I had to wear readers. I have a beautiful pair of Whisker Iridium Oakleys that I love but I had to give up using them because i lost a certain amount of clarity to wear them. I had previously searched for reader sunglasses but didn't like what I saw available. At a much later date, these glasses came to my attention, I was skeptical but decided to give them a try. They are optically accurate and actually fit my head properly. For $12.00, you cannot lose. They look to be well-made and I am quite happy with the purchase. I LOVE THESE. I was skeptical because of how inexpensive these were but decided to try them and so glad I did. I like them way better than a more expensive pair I bought on Amazon for $35. These sunglasses fit so well, are lightweight and perfect for driving. I don't know how these are so inexpensive and so good but I will definitely buy these again! ... show more

The glasses fit well, are comfortable and seem to be accurate to the vision strength. I've had many glasses that make me dizzy, these do not, the tint is good, I would definitely recommend these glasses.

These are great readers for outdoors. Just what I wanted, but they're not very sturdy. You can't just throw them in a beach bag, they'd get crushed by other stuff. I don't expect them to last long, but they'll work for now.

These come nicely packaged and I ordered a set of 2. They look just like the picture and have a classic design that matches everything. I ordered the same strength as my prescription but am having trouble using these even after a few weeks. Hard to see in these, making me dizzy! These sunglasses are perfect. I got one in brown and one in black. They come with nice little cloth drawstring bags which protect them in my center console. High quality glasses. Very sturdy and clear lenses. The price for what you get is astounding!
