I'm a guy whose worn Vans in a size 7.5 for more than 20 years, and they always fit great, and feel great (after the first few days of breaking in the "newness" of the shoe). But for some reason, these fit just a little bit longer in the toe than all my other Vans of the same size. I'm assuming it's because they're unisex? Anyway, it's not enough that I need to return them or anything and overall they fit fine. And going down half a size would probably be too small. But I wear Vans enough that the slight difference was noticeable to me. Still a great shoe...but I will probably just not purchase unisex styles anymore so that I'm sure to get the true size fit that I'm used too in Vans. ... show more

Very good. Don't listen to these other downers. I ignored them and bought the shoe they came in early that they thought it would ( I used standard) they are light and very moveable plus very comfortable I'm surprised I can run in them. The only negative thing is it fades just a little on the front but it's very unrecognizable. They look really good on my feet. I've gotten a lot of compliments at the skate park. ( the girls too lol) my mom even asked for where I got em. Tbh these are the absolute perfect shoes. In my opinion. They do not rub your acchiles you guys probably got a small size. Oh and get a SIZE bigthan your normal if youve never rocked vans. ... show more
