The shoes that are pictured (The Caldrone in Port Royale with gum soles) is not what you receive. After some research, I discovered those are the men’s version of the shoe. What you receive is the women’s version, which is an all Port Royale (burgundy) colored suede shoe, stitching is the same burgundy color, the laces, sole, and Van’s swoosh are stark white, and the checkered Van’s label on the tongue is in black and white. To say it’s a great disappointment is an understatement as I love the gum soles and loathe the white ones. I am keeping them because they still look pretty good. I like the style of the shoe, with the padded and chunkier look being more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to me. The color is a rich, dark wine burgundy and I love that part. I ordered my typical shoe size and they fit perfectly. So far, they haven’t hurt my feet, and they feel and look like they’re fairly durable and will hold up to some wear. There is no support, but that’s typical of Van’s shoes, regardless of style. I can’t say it’s a good value with a price point of $75, considering I didn’t receive what I ordered. Just be mindful that this particular variant of the shoe is falsely advertised, and what you get is the picture I've included. ... show more
