I took a star off bc the back is a little higher than on my other low Vans, which caused a blister on the back of my left ankle (my left foot is longer). My other low Vans don’t even reach that spot. Our shoes get a lot of wear....jumping, hopping, skipping, running, occasional walking. He is wearing this size now and there should be enough left to pass on to someone else. They are that well made.
