Oh my gosh, did I buy a lot of Vans shoes over the last 2 weeks. Such great prices on Amazon, I just couldn’t pass them up. I wear a size 15, regular width, and I’ve bought a bunch of different colors and styles, including the gum sole that’s brown on the side. Every pair fits perfectly, vans must have super good quality control. I didn’t have money as a kid to be able to afford vans, even though I lived in SoCal where they were started. But I have a great collection now thanks to Amazon. They are comfortable right out of the box, and I am sure they are gonna last just fine. Great for every day wear, and they look stylish. Well made with a fantastic shade of green which goes with many of my pants. I love Vans distinctive stripe too. They fit well and they are comfortable with light padding around the ankle collar and the tongue that isn't as visible as the thick padding you see on many traditional skateboarding shoes.
