This is the third pair of the Van EXPs. The grey ones I purchased are light weight, not exactly mesh on the toe box and sides with leather wrap. A black pair I had was heavier solid leather (what I call leather-more like felt) and more for cooler months, the last pair I had was a sold grey and it was more leather with canvas. These are my all day work shoes and I love them!! At first the shoe is a little tight on the sides (more than vans usually are) but once I broke them in, they fit pretty well. I would recommend sizing .5 up if you have a wide foot. I am standing up all day and I find they have great arch support and my back and knees don’t hurt :) ... show more

Extremely comfortable as soon as my foot slipped in and they look great, the only thing is they run a little big. I wear a size 10 in the Vans Atwood and most other shoes. This shoe is a bit big and my toe sits about an inch or so away from the tip of the shoe. Measuring tape in one of the photos is where my toe sits inside the shoe. ... show more
