Vans have added velcro to the old school style and have brought back the very popular "style 23" Previously known as prison issue. These are great sturdy shoes. Like almost all Vans, they are meant to stand up to heavy use. Vans are today and since their beginning what Levis used to be. I remember stores when I was a kid that just sold used Levis!!! 2 generations could wear a pair, thats how good they were made. Im happy to see Vans is still putting out great shoes. Slip on, slip off, I have worn these to go tubing and had them in and out of river water all day. You can just wash them, yes, dump them in your washing machine. Take em out and they look brand new.
