They provide regular arch support and are an easy fit for my wide feet. Great looking shoes, and the fit is true to size. I think the laces (flat, almost like strips of cloth) were designed for looks as opposed to functionality though, I’ve only worn the shoes a few times and I’m gonna buy new ones. Due to the fact that the shoes use hooks or clips at the top vs “eyes”, the flat style laces are difficult to get properly secured. I’m gonna buy the “rope” style as replacements. The soles have no cushion in them either, so I’m wearing these occasionally just for looks and not for comfort. Walking on a solid surface feels like having a sheet of plywood strapped to my feet. And the configuration of the sole itself seems to trap a LOT of debris. I took my dog to the park before a visit to the vet this past week and left a trail of mud in the office/exam room. Still 4 stars though, because I bought them for the looks of a casual shoe that’s not a pair of work boots. ... show more

I haven't owned a pair of Vans in years, but man are these incredible! I'm 6'2" and wear a 13. They fit absolutely perfect and are not only comfortable but look even better than pictured. The color so nice and the materials all bring the shoe together well. I rushed to get these in order to attend my motorcycle endorsement class (need shoes that cover the ankles) but now I kinda want to purchase the black pair for riding and keep these as a more casual shoe. If you're thinking about getting them, go for it. They're well worth the money! I did grab some nicer laces (Stepace Round Shoelaces in Dots Black and White) just because I know the white ones will be gross in a matter of weeks. ... show more
