Do I recommend this set of bands for your Pixel Watch? If you need something basic and want to mix things up a little, then I suppose so, let me explain. To start, and most importantly, I need to talk about the connection point to the watch, which is a known quirk for the Pixel Watch & third-party bands. With these, they are metal, but they don't fit as firmly as the original Pixel bands, but, they stay attached, and don't wiggle out of place, provided you don't remove the rubber coating that's present on the connection point. For some reason, the "leakage" of the rubber helps keep the connection secure on the watch, keeping it from wiggling around too much, and seems to favorably enhance the tolerances. Out of curiosity, I removed the rubber coating on one of the bands, since I had the same color already. After doing so, it did make the connection a bit more loose, and I much preferred how the other bands felt without modifications. That aside, the material is decent. It doesn't feel the same as the original in regards to texture, but it's still comfortable regardless. The pin is decent too, not requiring much effort to use, so that's good. Long story short, if you need something simple, this should work well for you, just don't make any changes to the connection point unless you can't install it to your Pixel Watch, since the tolerances can be a little odd due to the design of the watch. ... show more

I ordered these for my pixel watch 3. I tried fitting them onto the watch but they were quite a hassle. I eventually managed to get them on. Removing them from my watch was also a bit harder to do than the bands that came with my watch. The look and feel of the bands is really nice. I was looking to wear my Pixel Watch 2 again after basically abandoning for awhile due to acquiring a Garmin. I went back to it briefly to see if I missed anything about it now that it was a few updates later. At the time though I had no bands besides the stock ones and some terrible nylon ones so I ordered these. So I'll just cover the things you care about with a tl;dr at the end. Color/Looks ========== You know what to expect for looks, but the colors surprisingly match very well with what the pictures show. No bait and switch here, just solid fairly accurate colors that I can mix and match with outfits. I went with pretty boring colors EXCEPT for the awesome orange color. That is some Linus Tech Tips orange if I have ever seen it. Pairs nicely with black. Fit/Function ========== I have about a 7.5 inch wrist in circumference and i went with the large version of this. It fit me very well leaving plenty of holes on each side to work with. I'll cover function here too since I know that might be in question. These watch straps the way they lock requires making a U-bend once you push the peg through that on poor quality watch bands means it pops off before you can tuck the strap inside the band. This one has a good size peg that seems to fit the holes nicely and doesn't pop off easily in the few weeks I've had it. However, the super smooth coating comes off within a week and I imagine if you use the same sizing hole week after week it may loosen and that could become a problem. Easy to workaround, but for me the peg holds securely while I pass the band inside itself over my wrist. Comfort ======= Nylon bands these are not, but still fairly comfortable. Nothing groundbreaking here as they feel like the other million silicone watch bands you find on Amazon. However, also like those other watch bands the super smooth coating they put on it to convince you it is an incredibly soft material before it wears down and becomes grippy is still a problem on these bands. That coating is gone within two weeks so if you want better quality wristbands that stay slick long term you'll likely need to pay more. Value ===== This is a simple one: 4 bands for the price of 1 official band is a pretty good deal. They are not made with the same materials science and longevity in mind compared to the official ones from Google, but at this price they likely intend for you to just buy new ones when your current ones bother you. Where Google's approach is more, buy once cry once. You just have to decide if getting 4 to 1 bands is worth the money to you. I can't answer that, only let you know where they fall compared to the Google ones. tl;dr === Vibrant, comfortable, good amount of bands for the money and the sizing peg stays connected after testing for 2 weeks. Get these if you like color choices and lots of options for low prices. Pay the money for the Google ones if you want longevity and better quality materials. Overall I do recommend these to the people who will just buy replacements when these get worn out. However, I will mention I exclusively wore the white version to see if I could get it dirty/worn down since it was the most likely to absorb dirt. Two weeks and it has stayed clean but has dulled a little. Take that for what it is worth. I hope this helped someone! ... show more
