I had hoped this bra would offer a fuller cup than the front closure version of this exact bra, it does not. I wish they offered a DDD. I ordered the 38DD hoping the different style of this bra would be the difference. The front closure version of this bra does not have the wider straps (but they aren't skinny straps either) that this one does... and this one offers a wider back with many hooks - about 3 1/2 - 4". The front closure version is "convertible" to a "x" back. Obviously, this one is not convertible but does offer wider straps - thus I was thinking this would be a fuller cup, fuller figure bra.. but nope... There is an underwire. But if you need a fuller cup bra - this one is sadly disappointing. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful - and hope this info is helpful.

I found this bra in the color black at a local department store and Loved It! The material was silky smooth on the inside so there is absolutely no scratchiness. I did the tape measuring before I went shopping to see what my current size should be and it came out to 40DD, however in this bra in black the 42C fit best so that's what I got. Since they only had just the one in my size, I came home, found them on Amazon and ordered 3 more in different colors in the 42C size. The navy blue one was made exactly and fit just like the black one, however the beige and white one were made with different material and fit differently. They had soft material on the inside, but not the satin material of the black and blue, and the molded cups were a bit thinner which made it dimple a little and not fit the same. I returned the beige and white and reordered in size 40C. The beige has arrived and I tried it on, it is same materials as one I returned. Since I had to order a size down it is a little bit more snug so my under arm fat is pushed up a little...it is comfortable though and I'm keeping this one. I don't know why they make the lighter bras differently than the darker ones, but I've got to say that after trying on "tons!" of bras at the department store, this is the most comfortable one I've found.

Very impressed...purchased Steele color in 38DD (I'm 5ft9...175lb) the fit is fantastic, supports in all the right places, no bulging etc..Smoothes the back nicely, really like 'Leotard' style back & straps..This bra is not 'padded' as others have suggested - but it does fall under the category of a 'lined/moulded cup' bra, meaning that the cups are slightly thicker than an 'un-lined' bra but, as I understand it, this is *not* intended to increase cup-size it's for *modesty* so that ppl won't see everything if the weathers 'Nippy'! Lol! The slight lining also serves to even out bust- fairly common these days for 'T-shirt' bras as they are intended to give a smooth appearance under 'clingy' tops! Vanity Fair has become one of my favorite brands, they really do make quality bras, excellent fit, comfort, pretty styling, but at very fair prices..the satin edges lend a nice touch it's refreshing to find some 'pretty' subtle embellishments on an otherwise Functional, day to day Tshirt bra..I would highly recommend searching Google or Pinterest to find how to measure yourself at home & find your 'true' size and you'll also find articles on how a bra should 'actually' fit - ie: the underwire should sit slightly lower on your ribcage, not directly under your bust, the band is supposed to carry the majority of the weight - NOT the straps! I'm glad I did my research first because I got the fit right on the first try, without having to go in to a store & try on 100 bras or have a stranger take my measurements which means I can take advantage of lower on line prices! Yet still find the perfect fit I live in Hawaii so Amazon Prime has been a Godsend for us as far as Saving on shipping they ship here remarkably fast... Two thumbs up for Vanity Fair & Amazon!

As a disclaimer I had implants several years ago, however they now are in natural condition. When putting on this Bra, not only was it tight around my rib cage, but the cups were very pointy, and not even pointing straight, but pointed my breasts outward... I fear this bra was designed for elderly (sagging) breasts, which I so wish had been mentioned in the description. I included the best pic I could in order to show how outwardly the cone shaped cups pointed. Though I WiLL say, the fabric was Very soft and silky, a definite 10 in quality.

My review for this bra changed to excellent because it was for my mother and my aunt. I have become an expert in bra sizes, an avid Victoria's Secret shopper myself and having read all the books about choosing the right bras and such I have never really strayed from my usual. However, my mom thinks VS is too sexy for her so I came in search for a bra that would be right for her. I came across this one and was pleasantly surprised at the fit of it. My mom absolutely loved it, so much so that she showed her sister and then my aunt came by the house so I could measure her and order her one to try. In total I have since bought about 7 of these for them, that's how much they love them! I would recommend this for any lady who's looking for something comfortable, flattering, and soft.

I had just bought two of the exact same bras at Kohl's - fit was perfect, so decided to buy one more from Amazon, as the price was good. However, the latter, even thought it has the same exact size designation, 38D, and product/model number, RN 16345, as the ones bought at Kohl's, this turned out to be too small! When comparing the cups of the different bras side by side, the one bought here at Amazon is visibly smaller than the ones bought at Kohl's - go figure. The only difference I can see is that the ones bought in store are made in China, whereas the one I ordered here is made in Indonesia. Otherwise it looks fine, in good condition, but since I cannot wear it I am returning it. I am giving it three stars as it is still a good bra, but I am disappointed that the sizes vary so much for the same size designation. I will be going back to buying bras in-store, where I can try them on first.
