The very best gourmand vanilla perfume I've ever found. It's like French vanilla homemade ice cream. No woody, ambery, patchouli, mix ins. Just straight sweet vanilla. I love layering it with other scents to build seasonal scent profiles. Like with Replica by the fireplace, and phleur caramel for fall. Or lighten up a stronger more mature perfume for work. Im 22, I'm not a fan of most mens' cologne so I was shopping for some and found this. It's very pleasant but not too intense, the alcohol smell is overwhelming when you first spray it on but after 1 minute it goes away. I do 3 sprits and it's the perfect amount for somebody to notice it when you are hugging but not too much that it's distracting. One of those scents that fits young and old people, women and men. I never write reviews but I feel inclined to help anyone viewing this product be aware of what they are purchasing. I bought this to replace an already existing bottle that had broken and because it’s my very favorite scent, I had to get it again as soon as possible. I usually buy this at a well known high end women’s clothing store but knew that Amazon would get it to me faster than I could get it myself. The fragrance came packaged well and 2 little trial size samples of other beauty products (not fragrances) came in the box too which I thought was a really nice touch. Unfortunately, this product appears to be a watered down version of the real deal. Quite literally, I think someone added water or alcohol to the bottle. It smells NOTHING like the original version but instead smells chemically and I don’t even detect a vanilla note at all. I’m posting pictures of the drastic difference in color between my original bottle and the new one. Keep in mind, my bottle is not very old, it was dropped and broken so it isn’t as if the product has aged and become darker or anything. Because this product isn’t eligible for return/exchange/refund, I am upset and HIGHLY recommend that you not purchase anything from this seller as the integrity of their product is a joke and there’s really nothing you can do about it once it arrives. If I wanted to smell like nail polish remover I’d head to the dollar store and grab a bottle. What a colossal waste of time and money! ... show more

Good size for price but a little underwhelming. To me, it doesn't really smell like vanilla or the vanilla warmth that I was hoping for. The scent isn't long lasting at all and you must use like 4 to 6 sprays to smell it strong enough to wear out. I sometimes use only to give my skin a scent and 2 sprays is fine but no one can actually smell it unless they are sniffing my skin. At work I was told I smell like pancakes, someone else said I smelled like syrup and my other coworker said it smelled like sweet waffles. So there you have it, all unintentional reviews by men at work who were either hungry or actually smelling me passing by. The waffles guy...I lied to him and told him it wasn't me who smelled like it, but it was me :( I lied because I wanted the warm vanilla smell, not syrup. ... show more

This has a very bubblegum vanilla scent to me. It's good, just not what I was looking for. The longevity isn't anything to get excited about, a few hours. I've been using it to layer with perfumes I would like to add a little sweetness too. However, the sprayer gets stuck and so it doesn't always spray nicely, its a squirt of liquid, then it's jammed, then it will spray and then back to squirt. The cap is just decorative as it doesn't actually stay on. It's decent price for a decent size bottle though. So, you aren't out much. ... show more
