I was getting low on my shaving soap pucks and needed to save some money, so I gave this a try. Its a good basic budget shaving soap at a great price. Standard size for most mugs, and makes a very good thick lather. Not a strong scent, but it all rinses away after you shave anyways, so its no big deal. It gets the job done affordably and gives a smooth shave for the lower cost. I give it 4 stars as there is no such thing as a "Perfect 5" but I will definately recommend it.

I've used Williams Mug Soap for time out of mind and was very satisfied with it. Unfortunately it is discontinued so I tried Van Hagen's as a replacement. I can't speak to it as moisturizing or for sensitive skin - that strikes me as so much hype anyway. What's important to me it that it does the job and I get a good shave. Price is comparable to Williams ($12.88 for five (5) 1.75 oz pucks) / Van Hagen's two (2) 3.5 oz pucks for $ 9.31. I'm not wild about the scent but unscented was not available. All told I'm satisfied and would buy it again

I use a safety razor, and have sensitive skin. The shaving creams and gels don't cut it for me, so I have to use shaving soap. Some worked good, some hasn't. This works good, and doesn't smell bad.

May be the best shaving soap bar I've used so far. Good quality skin truly appreciates it. Great lather, keeps my skin moisturized, don't have to reapply every few seconds which allows for a smooth shave. Nice fresh scent not over powering and doesn't linger.

I don't think you can beat the price of this soap anywhere. It lathers up very nicely and has a pleasant but very mild scent. Not overpowering at all. And so far I've been using about one puck per 6-8 months.
