I bought this oil because it is recommended for air cooled VW engines. The company that built my zero time 1776 VW long block recommended using this oil for engine break-in and everyday use. This oil has the additives needed for an old school flat tappet motor like the VW.

Works like is should! It is the best oil for the jeeps 4.0. has the zinc those flat tappet lifters need. This is also a Non synthetic oil BYW.

The best oil to use if you have an older flat tappet cam engine. Those engines need the zinc that the newer oil formulas just do not have since newer engines are mostly all roller cams.
