I originally followed the size guide and ordered several of these in medium, but they were a little tighter than I prefer. In ordering a large, I ordered 4 of these, including the black w/white polka dots, black, purple and dark red. I've pretty happy with them, though I haven't yet worn them. I like the shape: they flare out a tiny bit but don't make my already large hips look too enormous. And the neckline works well without the creases looking like they are stretched.

maternity look

You need to order larger than you normally wear or the little tuck below the bust line causes it to look like a maternity top. I'm sure if it hangs loose, it will look better. Nice material but beige has a pink look next to beige pants. I can wear it with black pants due to black stripe.

Inconsistent size between patterns.

I got 3 shirts in the same size, large. I’m in the process of losing weight and couldn’t decide on medium or large. According to the chart (and bra size) I should be a medium. I decided on large for a slightly looser fit. Tried the striped one on first and it was a little snug, including at the arm cuffs. It shouldn’t shrink as it’s a hang to dry. Love the pattern. Then I tried on the blue on. It fit perfectly. No tightness. And it was softer. So win win! Lastly, I tried on the green one. (It’s called peacock blue) It was as soft as the blue one, but roomier than the blue one. Almost a little too big. I took off one star because of the inconsistent size.
