  • Great quality and perfect fit Great quality and perfect fit
Color: Black with Red Lines Size: M(14"1/2-15"1/4)
Very soft genuine leather and fits my 2010 Honda Insight perfectly. I really like the black design with red lines, it gives the interior a nice sporty look. The grip feels secure and comfortable, especially on longer drives, and it definitely helps reduce hand fatigue. It arrived quickly and was folded, but I just left it on the dashboard in the sun and it softened up nicely. Overall, very happy with the quality and hoping it lasts for years. ... show more

  • Great product, looks fantastic! Surely 'PU Leather' so it'll flake/peel ... eventually. Great product, looks fantastic! Surely 'PU Leather' so it'll flake/peel ... eventually.
Color: Black with Black Lines Size: M(14"1/2-15"1/4)
First I know some of you will want to know in what condition this cover is shipped. It is NOT shipped folded-all-up or tightly-shrink-wrapped … that would cause it to take-on creases/crimps. Rather it is shipped inside a large poly rectangular zip bag so that it is held in the general shape of an ellipse. I uploaded a picture of the packaging so you can see. Btw, in that picture, the 'Amazon smiley-arrow' in the center is pointing directly at the 6-o'clock position of the actual steering wheel cover. This elliptical form of packaging seems to have caused the three small/slight crimps I found on the BACK of the cover at the 3-o'clock, 6-o'clock & 9-o'clock positions. I've also uploaded a picture of the crimps so you can see those as well. Now this product is described as 'genuine leather.' A product can be legally sold/called such even if it is actually what is known as 'PU Leather' or 'Pleather.' To make PU Leather a very very thin sliver of low-quality, ugly, bottom-grain leather (that couldn't possibly be used for anything else) is coated with a ton of vinyl/PVC or synthetic rubber or something similar to make a material that looks very 'leather-like.' The only purpose of doing that, as opposed to just using pure vinyl/PVC or rubber, is so the item can be legally called 'genuine leather.' Eventually, with wear, the vinyl/PVC or rubber coating flakes/peels away from the bottom-grain leather. If the 'leather' fails on your original steering wheel, well that was probably some form of 'PU Leather' as well. At this price, this steering wheel cover has just got to be 'PU Leather.' But also, at this price and looking this good, if it even lasts just a year or two, I will not complain. In fact, my prior three steering wheel covers, all looking quite leather-like but not actually marketed as leather, only lasted about 2-3 years each before the flaking/chipping started. If you really wanted to avoid this type of failure, you could pay 60 smackers and buy that 'lace/stitch-it-on-yourself' type of steering wheel cover; at that price, the strip of material will most probably be higher-quality 'real leather.' (Just be sure you do not fall into the trap of buying an expensive 'genuine' 'PU Leather' couch for your living room … or you will soon be very sorry!) I bought the black-on-black. It is a MATTE black, not glossy black as it appears in the pictures. Like some other reviewers have said, it feels a bit awkward to be gripping it at 9-o'clock and 3-o'clock where the leather is raised and smooth and stitched. Because it is raised and stitched, it feels as though the rest of your hand is being raised a bit off the steering wheel, not in firm grip of it around the non-raised portion of the cover. I was actually looking for a more simple OEM/stock-looking cover filled with perforations to match the color and the perforated leather of the seats. Couldn't find one. The company I bought my three prior covers from had one, it was a perfect match … but it has gone out of business. Dash Designs (an Arizona company that makes high-quality custom-fit dashmats) also has one (called 'Sedona Grip') but it was back-ordered 60+ days out. So I took a pass on waiting … and bought this one instead. It isn't going to look entirely 'stock/OEM' … and there is that weird feel about gripping it … but it has a pretty understated look and so it will fit in with the look of the interior of my Lexus. If/when the material fails, then I will just go shopping again, I suppose. Installation: I let it soak in hot water for about 30 minutes to make it more malleable then dried it. Starting at the 12-o'clock position on the steering wheel, it took about 3 minutes of serious tugging and stretching to get the cover on all the way round the sides and down onto the 6-o'clock position. The three crimps disappeared. Conclusion: Better-than-average quality and appearance given the price. It's doubtful you'll be disappointed especially since, at this price, you are not seriously invested in it. ... show more

  • Looks and feels fantastic, tight fit but easier to install than expected
Color: Black with Black Lines Size: M(14"1/2-15"1/4)
There is nothing I have to say against this steering wheel cover. It’s thick and beautiful leather with an elegant subtle design. The one I bought is all black. I’m about average strength and a petite woman, and I installed it in 3 minutes, probably a little less. It’s an exact fit on my steering wheel, so it was tight, but I wasn’t sweating or swearing when I put it on the wheel, exactly like other reviewers suggested, starting from the top, positioning the cover as I want it so I didn’t have to take it off and put it on again, and slipping it on a little at a time towards covering the center bottom of the steering wheel. It was easier to install than I anticipated, and I actually smiled to myself at the end of installation. It looks and feels fantastic. I also let the cover relax in a warm room for an hour before I installed it, which was actually a suggestion from another reviewer. It fits snugly on the steering wheel, and the leather blends in nicely with the black interior of my car. I think I had an easier time because I didn’t hurry, focused and followed the technique as the seller and that reviewer said to do. I have no idea what “drying power” is on the rating, it is nice quality leather that has a nice soft, fat and firm feel when you grip it. Very pleased with my purchase. ... show more

  • Decent Product! -and helps cover suspect quality of certain Toyota materials and/or manufacturing
I really didn't know what to expect, so I was actually very pleasantly surprised with this product! It has been installed and used for only a couple of weeks at this point. PRO: It fit well and did not slip or slide at all when used (I was able to move it a bit after installing to re-center the gap a bit, but that was pretty difficult (in a good way)) Overall quality and material-feel was much better than I had expected. I actually expect the non-slip aspect to get even better with time, based on the design and materials but only the passing of time in real-world environment (temperature extremes, etc.) will tell. For example, ,I doubt I would be able to budge it in the future - instead, requiring a complete removal to adjust if necessary. CON: decorative stitching, seems, and designs look clean and nice but are unnecessarily thick and annoying with heavy maneuvering. I thought I would eventually get used to them, but I am instead learning to avoid them (which shouldn't really be necessary) Finally, the cover ultimately covers only about the outer 2/3 of the Prius Prime wheel - creating two more thick seems in potentially uncomfortable positions and leaving an unusually wide gap between them. While these issues may sound pretty bad, rotating this gap slightly toward the front (with less seems to touch than on the back) was critical to ultimately accepting and using this cover. I preferred a clean back, which resulted from the adjustment. I'm sure every driver's technique and preference is different, tho - and I cannot speak to the situation with Civics wheel. As I said, the cover was much better overall than I had expected and I am quite pleased at the moment. This item also appears to have been among the best options to cover the very poor Prius Prime wheel material as it continues to delaminate in just one, touch spot. This wrap adequately covers and protects the loose and peeling steering wheel on a car that just now has 30k - and perhaps prevent it from expanding beyond the 2.5-3 inches it grew to in less than 8 weeks. Obviously, the often used manufacturer explanation sounds ridiculous to me, but since this delamination is really a quality issue and not a safety issue -and their service departments are beginning to remind me of the Detroit big-three service departments in the 70's after having had very little competition and incentive to provide quality care and service- a quality cover appeared to be my best option short of buying a new wheel myself- which would likely suffer the same fate as the original anyway. #neverAgain lol Good Luck! - you should be pleased for the price if the (likely) gap on the very thick Prius Prime wheel does not bother you -not sure about the Civic or the regular Prius. ... show more

  • Easy to install and very comfortable
I put one of these on each of my cars (Jeep Wrangler and Ford Fiesta) and have been very happy with the results. My cars have basic plastic steering wheels which are fine around town but I do a lot of all day drives and after 10-12 hours the plastic steering wheels leave my hands sore. Fortunately I have never gotten actual blisters but at the end of the day my hands felt raw like you had been raking leaves without gloves. Maybe I have wimpy hands but these leather covers make a huge difference in comfort and I no longer have that raw feeling after driving all day. I also think I am slightly taller, better looking and that my hair is growing back after installing the covers but I could be imagining all that. ;) Seriously, I think the covers are great. They don't get hot in the summer like plastic and warm up quicker in the cold. I think they breath better than plastic so your hands don't sweat as much and provide better grip. Also have been very durable. Still like new after 4 years. Easy to install. Would highly recommend. ... show more

  • Fitting cover on steering wheel
Color: Black with Red Lines Size: M(14"1/2-15"1/4)
Looks great on our 2017 Subaru Crosstrek Hint: lay the cover on the dash of car that is sitting in the sun to warm it. Then loop around your foot and pull to stretch it out. You will then be able to work it around the steering wheel.

  • Great cover!
Color: Black with Black Lines Size: M(14"1/2-15"1/4)
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is the second one I’ve bought. Used one on a 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma. Just installed on a Crosstrek Wilderness. Very snug and tough to install on both. Easier if you leave the cover in the sun or hot vehicle for a bit. A plus to this is it stays where you put it without circling the wheel every 5th turn! Love the smooth leather feel and the cushion grip. Overall one of the best steering wheel covers I’ve used. After three years on the Tacoma, it was cracked and worn but still functional. Worth purchasing again for sure! ... show more
