I receive frequent complaints from friends that my mic picks up all background noises. Would have been nice if this mic had noise cancellation. The ear cushions are super comfy, however.

The microphone makes the audio sound a little bit muddy but does a better job with isolating audio than most, especially headset ones, this is coming from experience and reflected by video reviews with mic tests. The other review probably has it set up poorly or has a defective product. With that being said, it's still a mediocre microphone and only justifiable if you are trying to use "audiophile" headsets or ANC ones for calls/games (for example the sony xm4 which doesn't allow for the microphone to be used wired. It isn't much of an upgrade from most microphones headsets. If you want great audio you should buy a boom microphone, modmics are also available but overpriced and not worth paying for unless you are using them a lot in situations where audio quality actually matters. ... show more
