In the past, I was very hesitant when buying bearings to make sure they were not made in China. That is, until I met a bearing distributor who educated me regarding Chinese bearings. He told me, originally, the factories from where he purchased bearings were pretty basic. Some even had dirt floors. That was years ago. He then told me that now they have some of the most modern bearing factories in the world and if I am worried about the quality that I shouldn't be flying. He further explained that all the airlines use Chinese bearings in their aircraft maintenance programs.
