  • 5 Star Value Optic
Style: Green Laser
This is an amazing combo optic for a great price and I give it 5 stars because of that. Is the glass as clear as an $800 scope? Probably not but it is close enough and I do have one of those to compare with. After using this one I can't find a reason to spend any more on something else. You are getting a reflex sight AND a 4-16x50 scope for a C-note and with that in mind you are getting a fantastic scope at an amazing value. This unit is very solidly built. Out of the box I put it on a new scary gun that was right out of the box too. I did not even have a chance to get it bore sighted and the minimum distance at the range was 50 yards so I thought it was going to be a long day. Amazingly, with the first shots, both the reflex and the scope were on the paper. After 45 minutes I had both dialed in and that included about 15 trips to the target and back because I forgot the spotting scope. I haven't field tested this yet but fully expect it will hold zero. I only have one minor wish with this unit...I wish the windage and elevation knobs for the scope could be locked or had a cap over them. Other than that, it does add a little weight to the gun, obviously, but it looks great and so far performs the same. I haven't used the lighted reticle so can't comment on that but the red dot options in both shape and intensity are perfect. I might get another one just to have on hand. Really happy with this purchase and look forward to spending more time with it. ... show more

  • Outstanding
Style: Green Laser
From pulling it out of the box, 15 minutes to set up on platform, and went to the range. Spot on accuracy and was very impressed with its operation. Damn good setup for the cost.

  • Nice scope for the price
Style: Red Laser
Easy to install, little bulky with all of the bells and whistles though. Once you get used to it I would say just as good as a vortex, and a whole heck of a lot cheaper.

  • Zero on the scope was pretty easy. sight at 100yrd
Style: Green Laser
EDIT #1 - I assumed operator error and burned through ~60rds trying to zero the holo sight. I fixed it to a bench and used the laser at a set point of aim to bring the holo sight closer to zero. . . come to find out the adjustments don't affect point of aim at all = defective holo sight. will contact seller for remedy and adjust review accordingly. EDIT #2 - Good and bad news, Seller got back to me and have honored their warranty (Major plus in my book), bad news, the replacement holo had a cracked screen. So i have now put ~700 rds thru it, 4 sessions, still holds a zero. Sooo the scope is still doing its job and I've bumped it around a bit (during transport, it sits in the trunk wrapped in a towel and gets bumped around when im turning. i hear it tumble a bit). going to contact the seller again. let you know how it goes from there. Paid ~$110, came packaged well. all the tools to change zero, batteries to get it running. So far have shot 3 sessions, about 500 rounds through it mounted on a DPMS Panther. In regards to one review about it not keeping a zero: I have broken my rifle down and cleaned it (left the scope attached, not touched) twice. It kept the zero (100yrds) after the first break down and the second. I tightened down the securing bolts well when i mounted it. I have not had the issue of the reticle moving within the scope but i haven't bounced it around yet so idk how tough it actually is Function checked all the illumination. Have not tried to use them in a low light setting. IMHO having red was important (does not effect nigh vision as bad). Green, meh. i wont use it but maybe my someone else will. Zero on the scope was pretty easy. sight point of impact +1" at 100yrd. shot ground hog steel at 200yrds using a dead hold. I did move the holo sight from the top to the right side, personal preference. it affects changing the zero on the scope (the holo is kind of in the way of the windage knob) but once its set its a non issue for me. See EDIT: <strike>by moving the holo sight from the top to the right side it has given me some difficulty with getting it zero'ed right, but that was operator error (left and right became up and down and vica versa). I figure i changed it from stock so its my responsibility to get it right.</strike> Red laser, meh. literally i use it as a cat toy. cant see myself using it. have not even bothered trying to zero it. Oh, Eye relief is about 3.25" (not more than 3.5"). I have it mounted about flush with the charging handle. I touch my nose to the handle (for cheek/stock weld reasons) and come up for a perfect sight picture. it you like a 5" eye relief this ain't your scope. ... show more
