The color is not fading. The white ones that have bits of green still look new after many washes with bleach. They are not microfiber so they are soft. I am very happy with these. They are a good weight and absorbent. When a towel is too thick it doesn't conform as easily to whatever you are drying. I like having a bunch so I can change them out frequently.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The material is nice. The color is more orange than I expected. The solid color towels look more orange compared to other “yellow” towels I have purchased.
