First, let's be honest. One side is NOT flannel, it's more like a loose velour. That side is incredibly soft, and what I prefer to have on the inside facing me -- I've been sleeping sherpa-side out. Second, let's be more honest. I hate heavy covers, even though I like to be warm. This is very warm, even though just in terms of weight, it is quite light. It is also very flexible, and conforms perfectly to the body. Third, to be completely superficial, it is very attractive. The sheen on the flannel-cum-velour is pleasing to the eye. This is my FAVORITE blanket EVER! It's warm and soft, and I have now bought three of them! I do wish it came in other colors, but this silvery gray isn't bad at all. The only thing I would suggest is NOT drying it in the dryer. When I got my first one, I put it in the dryer and it melted on itself. We turned that one into a dog bed. But I still bought two more, I just air dry them from now on. It is great for price, and size wise, I think it's accurate, if not a little on the big side, which is another plus! I really do love this blanket I gave it 4 stars overall because it does shed quite a bit. It's super soft though. Very warm, but without making me overheat during the night. It also looks really nice. The only thing I don't like is the shedding, but overall it's a great blanket.

I opened it to check for defects or issues which I found none, this is amazingly soft cozy, but overly warm but will definitely keep you warm without making you hot all winter long. I will NEVER sleep with any other blanket except for this one. I am SHOOK at how soft and pillowy this blanket in. For the price, I was a little concerned about how warm it would be, but loved the silvery color so thought I’d give it a try. Boy, does this sucker keep you warm. Every night I wrap myself in this blanket like a dang burrito, and I feel like a piece of cloud sushi. You could put this blanket over a point boulder, lay on it, and still feel like you’re laying on a cloud. I ordered this as a comforter for my daughter. I have nothing to complain about this item. First receiving, it was sealed air tight in plastic, in a comforter bag with a ribbon tied around. No rips, no stains, no holes, no problems. I washed on a delicate, cold, extra slow spin cycle. Came out of the washer with no issues. (Do not wash in a washer with the spin pole thing in the middle as it would prob ruin it) On a low heat setting, it took about 2 hours to dry. One corner did clump a little bit but wasnt an issue to fix. I do not recommend washing this weekly. The fabric is super soft like you are in literal heaven. Laid out on the bed, it may appear to be "too thin" but once wrapped up in it, its the most plushiest thing you could ever feel. My daughter is in love with her new bedding and I will be purchasing one for my bed as well. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. ... show more
