I was a bit hesitant to order a comforter from a brand I hadn't tried before, especially at such an affordable price. But I'm so glad I took a chance on Utopia Bedding! It's incredibly soft and plush, with a down-alternative filling that provides just the right amount of warmth without feeling heavy or suffocating. Perfect for All Seasons: I've used this comforter in both summer and winter, and it's been perfect for both. It's breathable enough for warmer nights yet cozy enough for those chilly Colorado winters. Excellent Quality for the Price: I'm truly impressed with the quality of this comforter, especially considering its affordability. The stitching is well-done, and the filling stays evenly distributed, even after several washes. Fits My Duvet Cover Perfectly: The comforter fits snugly inside my duvet cover, and the corner tabs keep it securely in place. No more bunching or shifting! Easy Care: It's machine washable, which is a huge plus for convenience. It comes out of the dryer looking fluffy and new. A Minor Quibble (or Two): While I'm thrilled with this comforter overall, there are a couple of minor points that I've seen mentioned in other reviews: Initial Odor: Some users have reported a slight odor when they first unpack the comforter. I noticed this as well, but it dissipated quickly after airing it out. Not as Fluffy as Down: While this comforter is incredibly soft and comfortable, it's not quite as fluffy as a real down comforter. Wow, these are really nice. They're very comfortable, no need for a cover on them. I use them in both the summer and winter - they keep me warm in winter, but I also don't get too hot in summer. I don't use a sheet, just this comforter. I got two of the twin sized ones to replace one large queen comforter in my queen bed, and I would really recommend that for anyone with a partner. No sheets, just the comforter. We each now have our own comforters, no more cover stealing! These wash pretty well. Because we're not using covers, and not using sheets, I do wash these much more frequently than I would typically wash a comforter. It says to air dry them, so, I leave them draped over my elliptical to dry them. So far they've held up well. But there is some pilling.

This comforter was quite the let down. The pictures are misleading in that the actual product is nowhere as full and puffy as it looks. Its actually very thin and when it arrived was packaged in box no bigger than a shoebox. It was not vaccum packed either. Additionally, and this is partially my fault... I washed it, and then dried it in the dryer on the lowest heat setting which was advised against in the care instructions. It actually melted in places like a walmart bag on a wood stove. Again, my fault I suppose, but I later found out the entire thing is made from material derived from plastic so I guess that explains it. Next time I will pay a little more for cotton. Just a little food for thought.

I have so many bedding pieces from this brand, so when I got a bigger bed I immediately went with them for new bedding. This duvet insert comes vacuum sealed and fluffs up immediately after opening. It's fluffy enough to keep you warm when it's chilly, but not so heavy that you sweat while using it. 10/10 will be buying a second one since I swap bedding every few days.

Not as fluffy as I expected. It's supposed to be a duvet insert so I expected it to have a little more than just 2 pounds of fill. It said after 24 hours it would puff up since it came vacuum packed. It did not. I'm keeping it but I guess I will see how it works out but it's made cheaply and feels very thin. I ordered a black twin.
