I bought two cables. First one was a couple months ago. It looked just as pictured and was the best cable ever. It fast charged my Samsung Note 20 Ultra phone as if samsung built this cable. Unfortunately my rabbit bit it so it only charges in certain positions. Anyways i purchased a second one to replace it. The second cable which i recently purchased they changed the design. It does not say UNI and it does not charge as fast, it takes way longer to charge my phone. Secondly because of the design change the adapter does not fit on my phone if it has a case.I have to remove the case to be able to properly plug it in. ... show more

I have been buying the UNI 10ft USB-C cables for years and have had no failures of them despite regular use, coiling/uncoiling, being thrown in a travel bag with no care, used as a jump rope by the nephew before I caught him, etc. They always work and the long lengths are greatly appreciated. When I saw they came out with a 15ft version, I also got several of them and have had the same great experience - up to 100W power delivery (when used with a 100W power brick and a device capable of receiving 100W), great durability, tangle free, and they look great! I've verified using USB-C power meters that the 15ft lengths can indeed do 100W PD. While these cables have full USB-C Power Delivery (PD) of 100W (thus making them compatible with any device that uses USB-C to charge), they are only USB-C 2.0 Data transfer (480 Mbps). This is common as USB 3.0 Data transfer cables are limited to 2 meters/6.6 ft in length by USB specifications. If you need a high speed data transfer cables, this is not it. If you need a great and long charging cable, this is exactly what you want! ... show more

I put several different brands of 100W 10ft C-to-C cables in my shopping cart to narrow down, then finally settled on this one, based on reviews and on perception of uni being dedicated to USB-C. But I'm not wholly convinced it's actually IF-certified. The listing does have an image showing such (says "USB-IF Certificated" LOL), but it's not mentioned in the actual searchable text (nor on the packaging when it arrived), but none of the other brands of 10-footers made that claim. Even Anker's 10-footer is not IF-certified (I asked Anker directly and they responded to the negative). For all I know, maybe cables this long can't be certified. Anyway I tested it with both my Samsung Note9 and my HP Chromebook 15, and it fast-charged both - as long as I used it with a good 45W type-C charging brick (no brick, no fast charging). Hope it lasts longer than the 6.6ft Cable Matters that I bought it to replace. ... show more

I have the same cord for my phone so I ordered another for my husband's phone. Mine works great so I figured this would as well. No. First thing, the box has that sticker on it from my picture. So it looks like I got someone's return? And that Amazon "renewed" it? Well, they didn't do anything because it doesn't work. I don't ever recall agreeing to buy someone's return, and one that doesn't even work for that matter. Way to go, Amazon. Not. Make sure you fix it before you ship it out. ... show more

First of all I want to mention that after only 6 months my cable was a dud that got warn down at the end of the cable and was no longer changing properly. If I twist the cable at the end, it sometimes worked for a short time. The reason I'm still giving this 5 stars is because the UNI brand came through with an easy replacement. I emailed them directly with my original purchase info from Amazon and they shipped me a replacement that's been working great. Would definitely recommend them and if you have an issue they are quick to take care of it. ... show more

Thanks to apples horrible design of their power brick for their Mac book pros I have to buy these wires (not this brand) occasionally after the brick falls out of the wall and lands on the usb-c plug in part and pretty much snaps it off... So far this wire is handling that fall nicely and hasn't snapped yet. The wire is well protected and feels nice to touch. It's quite long too in case you step on a Lego in the middle of the night and go stumbling and trip on the wire, it might save your stuff being long enough. So, upon realizing that the cord that Apple gives you to charge your iPad is about 2 inches long (joke), I knew I was going to be needing a charging cable that: 1. Was tough enough to be endured a good messing about by my cat 2. Was long enough so I can charge the iPad while actually using it and not having to be glued to an outlet 3. Was capable of charging the iPad rapidly 4. Looked simple and wouldn't clash with my office furniture 5. I could bend and roll up easily to stuff into my teacher bag.
