Benfei USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter 3-Pack. Item X001T2RYET. I could not be more pleased. I ordered 2 sets of 3 of these Benfei adapters. These fit very securely on the end of cords, so I have just added an adapter to my printer cable, and added an adapter to the end of the DVD/CD drive cable & I will continue to add these adapters to my cables as needed and they will just become part of the cords. The color is slightly darker than my new silver MacBook Pro, but the finish is match with Apple's finish. The build quality is excellent. The casing is metal, and these are sturdy and fit securely both onto the cord and in the computer. I am using these with my new MacBook Pro. It is very fast and there was no adjustment to using it when updating from my 2011 MacBook Pro, the only major issue being the need to buy these adapters & all new software. I am an Apple snob and in general I would much rather have all Apple cords & adapters, but Apple got me into the mess of needing a lot of adapters by building the new MacBook Pro without any USB 3.0 ports and I don't want to reward them for this, nor do I want to buy a handful of these adapters at Apple's pricing. Once I got these adapters, though, I do not wish for Apple adapters. These seem more convenient than those made by Apple with the mini cord.

The BenFei USB-C to USB 3.0 Adapters were surprisingly better than an old time favorite Macbook peripheral maker whose name starts with "Mac" and ends with "Ally". After switching from the Silver to the Space Gray camp, I decided to get a few peripherals in gray. The aluminum casing of the "Mac""Ally" came apart from the plastic assembly immediately, but the BenFei seems to be attached with more glue, and has yet to come apart after a week of use. The color is an almost exact match to the Space Gray on the 2019 MBP. I especially like the details of the shiny aluminum from the angle cut on the USB-C side. The plastic part being black keeps the whole assembly looking sharp too. The Adapters will fit side-by-side for the 2016-2019 15" or 16" Apple Macbook Pros. Both the USB-C and 3.0 sides are snug. You can flip the adapters over if you don't like looking at the company logo - just means the USB 3.0 side will be downside-up. There doesn't seem to be any slow down in the signals - actually, throughput seems really good. I'm wondering if there's any controller in there at all (there has to be, right?). I tested the connection with a HDD, SSD, and memory card reader and I would recommend these adapters for data connection. I haven't tried them extensively with power connections and I'm not keen on mixing and matching high wattage AC adapters to devices.

These devices can successfully read my flash drives and other USB ported accessories like my wireless mouse. Compatible with my new MacBook Pro 2021 latest model. What I like the most about this product is it can fit on one side of the MacBook conjoined. Of course two flash drives might not fit together once you plug them in but I can easily alternate one adapter for an extended adapter or plug one flash drive on each side of the computer. Def worth it!

I'm a student and needed these for my Macbook Pro. They work perfectly and very well, but it can be hard to detach them from either the USB because there is very little leverage and they seem to hold on very tightly. Overall 4/5, great product!

This is my Amazon review for the BENFEI 5 Pack USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter, USB C to A Male to Female Adapter Compatible with iPhone 15 Pro/Max, MacBook Pro/Air 2023, iPad Pro, iMac, S23, XPS 17, Surface Book 3 and More - Gray. These are the adapters I needed most recently. They worked like a charm. The conversion from my iPad's USB-C port to the USB-A mouse was instant and seamless. To receive 5 such adapters for around $7 was amazing. They work great with everything we used. Thanks, Amazon. They were just what we needed and just in time.

If you have a newer MacBook Pro or any of a number of other late-model computers or tablets with only USB-C ports, these little adapters are indispensable. I also have one of the multi-port adapters with 3 USB, Ethernet and HDMI ports, but these little adapters are great for about 90% of the things I want to plug in. They do fit side-by-side in the ports on a given side of a MacBook Pro, but installed that way there isn't enough clearance to plug in, for example, 2 flash drives next to each other as the drives are usually wider than the ports.

I like that it's small & it works on MacBook Pro 16". Just plug it in then plug in the USB cable & done. Simplicity works at its best, just use the 'C' plug or plug this in & keep it in. I like the freedom of using just one or all or none which makes it flexible & It's that simple. I would recommend this to everyone that needs USB port & the price is right for 3 of these.

Factory Type C ports on computers can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes; they are one of the very few hardware items that are shared by Mac and Windows computers, and manufacturers take some liberties with their specifications. So if you don't get the performance you want using the adapter, try looking at the port itself first. Type C ports are supposed to output a USB 3.1 super speed data signal, a 2 amp charge capacity, and a HDMI display signal, all from one port. I have one computer that does exactly that, and you need the correct splitter with three outputs to get all that performance. This adapter is going to give you only the data and charging functions, obviously not the display signal, and it will work as well as what the motherboard Type C port is supplying to it.
