    • Excellent...could be longer.
If you're tired of having to pull the card out of your camera in order to get quick file transfers, this is your answer. The battery and card door on the M-50 isn't exactly located in the most convenient place, especially if you you're running a cage or mounted to a tripod. Having to dig the card out so it doesn't take you forever to transfer files is a pain. This cable does a really good job at transferring those files much quicker than the oem cable. While not as fast as transferring them directly into your machine, it's still pretty fast by comparison. I just wish it was a bit longer as I have my studio cameras in a fixed location and the extra cable would make it easier. ... show more

I tested this cable against a random micro USB cable I found and it works completely the same, the IFC-600PCU is likely on Canon's part for whatever it's supposed to mean in order to get you to buy these very specific cables but the actual port and connector used is micro USB. I don't think the price is too unreasonable (although not the cheapest) for these types of cables especially considereing it is data AND power which not all cables have and you have to be careful about. The quality isn't any better than any other micro usb cable, the wire even has all the same labeling on it as the cable I found, and this one doesn't come with a ferrite bead on the wire. ... show more
