  • NOT AN ACTUAL SCARLETT - But still worth using
So admittedly I was a little miffed when I realized I had bought a knockoff "Wrugste" instead of an actual Focusrite Scarlett. I think that the thing is definitely being laid out a little deceptively on its Amazon listing, but shame on me for not really reading the "fine print" and for thinking I could score an actual Scarlett for under $100. - EDIT: Since this was originally posted, they have done a better job of making it clear this isn't a "true" Scarlett. All that said, after a few band practices and a show (we use it to run sound of of our laptop to the house PA), I can't say I have any complaints about the sound quality or reliability of the device. If you need a cheap audio interface to make sound go from a computer out to another source, you could certainly do a lot worse than this. ... show more

  • Great USB audio interface for the price!
I got this to test with my dbx 286s. I love the ring light around the knob. The sound output was great. I loved that the device just works when plugged in, and doesn't do annoying things like constantly advertise audio software or try to open Chrome like the Focusrite does. It turns out this device wasn't going to support what I needed it for, so the seller sent me a 2i2 replacement free of charge!! Amazing customer service! ... show more

  • Walmart audio interface
I have a Rode NT1-A recording microphone, when it was hooked up through an Audiobox USB 96 interface the quality of sound it recorded was great. But when i hooked the same microphone up to this garbage interface the quality it recorded was HORRIBLE. Sounded like it was coming out of a box down the hall and to the right. The audio wasnt even fixable through a good mix. Do NOT buy unless you want to hook your computer up to studio monitors for casual listening. Even then, its still not good to use if you want to mix, youd need better quality than this. ... show more

  • Great entry level.
This is a great entry level usb interface. Super small and lightweight but works great. Would be a great gift for someone learning to play music or starting a podcast. For the money it is a great deal. I would definitely recommend this product

  • It's alright
Not amazing but good for something cheap and only one or two instruments.

  • Beginner streamer for gaming, this is a good starting audio
I purchased this for gaming/streaming for a beginner and it is working very well. I needed an interface (it's a go between) from my computer and my microphone. This does exactly that. No issues with installing. Very straightforward for a beginner to use for the first time. The sound quality is perfectly fine. I don't have any complaints with understanding the audio recordings I make, and it sounds very clear. I upgraded personally to a better mic set up and this interface is working very well. A lot of reviews have spoken about it not being a certain name brand. As a new streamer I understand there is always a "better" model. But does this work? YES! It really does. I have not had any glitching or issues with plugs. It is extremely straight forward. Glad I got this so I can have fun streaming and not worry about the system set up. ... show more

  • Works well and great customer support! Awesome budget interface!
I wanted an audio interface that I could use to record the stereo output of my Akai MPC Live II and then use to record and overdub vocals. I have many years of experience working in radio and audio production so I know...I had high hopes for such an inexpensive piece of equipment! At the end of the day it will serve me perfectly! This unit is USB powered so it must be plugged in to receive power and to interface with your PC. Once plugged into my PC, I noticed that it set itself up for use. Within a minute or so, it was ready. I opened Adobe Audition. I was able to select my interface from the options and immediately was able to arm a track and record. First I used it in stereo mode by making sure the phantom power was turned off and the instrument/line input was selected. Then I used the two input knobs to set the levels of the L and R channel. It worked well and the quality was surprisingly good. Next I attempted to record my voice. I used a condenser mic that requires phantom power, which gave me a chance to try that feature and it works great! The build quality is good. The sound quality is good, but if the lowest latency possible with this unit is 30ms, it is not usable. I have wasted a day trying this unit with other recording programs trying to eliminate this issue to no avail. I posted my original review that was very negative toward this unit after that day of struggle. The company reached out after contacting its engineers. They suggested bringing the rate down to 44.1k, which would bring down the latency. I had already tried to this, but after great customer service, I decided to try again. With fresh eyes and a different mind set, I was able to find the settings and actually adjust it. I went into Cubase 12 and Audition 2023 and had success; however, I realized the issue was partially software related. Long story short, I can bring the quality back up to 48k and get the latency needed. In conclusion, the issues I had were mainly due to my being out of audio for so long and needing to make changes differently. This interface is surprising easy to use. It doesn't even require a driver download. The sound quality is good enough for my current needs and the latency is not an issue anymore! Great unit for the money! ... show more
