I have been on the "healthy" product train for years now and always seemed to have an issue with finding a deodorant due to sensitive skin in my armpits. After giving up the search for a purchased deodorant, I started making my own - coconut oil, baking soda, and essential oils (all approved for your skin). Unfortunately, what I didn't realize is that coconut oil is not the best for your skin because it doesn't let your skin breathe because the molecules in coconut oil are too big to penetrate the skin. Plus, your armpits' job is to let your toxins be released, meaning this part of your body definitely needs to breathe! This caused my armpits to have ingrown hairs and irritation. The solution I came up with is to try getting waxed and then try this product. The wax went smoothly, no irritation, but I was nervous to try a new natural product on newly waxed armpits. To my surprise, I tried this product out for the first time, after the wax, and absolutely no irritation. I got my wax 6 days ago, have been using this every day and have absolutely no ingrown hairs or complaints. Highly recommend trying this product out!!

Used to use Tom’s deodorant but they stopped using hops as an ingredient. I do like this scent much better than Tom’s. A great replacement- have already ordered twice.

First let me say I hate leaving negative reveiws. I'm a firm believer that just because you had a bad experience, doesn't mean anyone else will. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, especially with a small business. That being said, I feel compelled to write this because there are so many "natural" and less toxic deodorants now, and I have spent soooo much $$$ trying so many of them, and have found that most (like this one) are terrible. This is essentially nice-smelling lotion bar you rub on your pits. And, like if you actually applied lotion to your pits, I think it actually makes mine smell worse once I start moving. It just stright up doesn't work. I never expected an anti-persperant, only a deodorant that would stop me from smelling like onions on a *normal* day. (I'm not expecting any natural deodorant to work miracles for doing hot yoga.) This stuff makes me smell sooner, and worse, than if I wore nothing at all. I let my sister try it, and she had the same results. Another big hunk of plastic being "recycled" (meaning sitting in a land fill). Maybe your body chemistry will react differently with this stuff. For the record, Green Tidings is #1. Once I found that stuff, I never looked back. Good luck!

I like hops and soft natural odors, but this is a bit irritating, in an Axe Body Spray way. It works as a DO but has an odor that is a little strong and burning my nostrils and eyes. Not for the sensitive.

This deodorant smells soooo good!!!! I gave it four stars because it does burn when you put it on. It goes on wet and it burned me until it dried. Once it dries, it lasts all day. I love the natural ingredients and the fact that it does not have citric acid in it. Honesty, when it comes to natural products, everyones body will respond differently. Something might work for you and not for someone else or vice versa. Overall, this is a good option for those looking for a clean product.

I have super sensitive skin. The first one I tried was great! Needed to reapply a lot but that's pretty common with most deoderants that aren't antiperspirants in my experience. I decided to reorder the same one when I ran out and this time my pits started stinging and tingling. I had to wash it off, not fun. So I'm not sure if that was because of an allergy that developed or if the formula changed. Can't recommend, wish I could.

I like the fresh scent and it has a minty quality to it. Doesn't leave a film which is nice and does not have a over powering menthol scent to it even though it has a cooling effect when you first put it on. I don't really sweat that much to begin with or have a problem with being stinky, but if I am going to be out and about all day or go to the gym etc. its nice to have a deodorant on that is natural and works well. Some natural products have oils in them and leave residue on your clothes or can break you out/irritate your skin. This one does not do that. I've tried many over the years and this is my favorite.
