A natural deodorant that works without leaving chalky white chunks that must be applied as if your armpit was a road to be graveled? Doth mine eye deceive me? Nay! Tis true! This stuff glides on smoothly with a cool, clean feel. The odor is pleasant, natural, and androgynous with just the right amount of "range," - i.e., it's not overbearing, like you're wearing cologne or perfume. For me, one application lasts for the day. I was skeptical about spending extra money on another natural deodorant (I've been disappointed in the past [see: armpit gravel—oh, and did I mention I personally CAN'T STAND patchouli?]). Anyway, I think this Ursa Major deodorant is a great value and I'm thankful to have found it.

I really wanted to like this Ursa Major deodorant, but I can’t. It simply doesn’t work at all. The weird thing is that it smells great on the stick. It smells like it should be a new favorite grooming product. Alas no. Once it goes on your pits, you might get a good hour out of it. Worse? It quickly compounds pit reek versus not wearing anything at all. It’s baffling to me. It’s like an armpit stink catalyst. I have worn this for three weeks before reviewing, just to be sure my initial impression was hasty. It wasn’t. I can’t recommend this at all.

I like hops and soft natural odors, but this is a bit irritating, in an Axe Body Spray way. It works as a DO but has an odor that is a little strong and burning my nostrils and eyes. Not for the sensitive.

Alright, fellas, let's talk about something nobody really wants to talk about: pits. Specifically, mine. For years, I was using the same stuff my dad used, the kind of deodorant that smells like a car air freshener and leaves white streaks on everything. I decided to get fancy and try this Ursa Major Hoppin' Fresh Deodorant. The name alone sounds like something you'd find at a fancy farmers market, so I figured, why not? First thing's first, this stuff smells great. It's got this kind of minty, eucalyptus-y scent that's actually... pleasant. It doesn't scream, "I'M WEARING DEODORANT," it just quietly says, "Hey, this guy doesn't smell like a locker room." It's a nice change of pace. The best part? It actually works. And I'm not just talking about sitting on the couch and binge-watching TV. I've worn this thing to the gym, I've worn it when I'm running around doing errands, and I've worn it on a first date (success, by the way, but that's a story for another time). I stayed dry, and I didn't get that "oh no, is that me?" feeling that we all know and dread. It's a natural deodorant, which I guess is a good thing? I'm not a scientist, but I like the idea of not putting a bunch of weird chemicals on my body. The stick itself is a little different than what I'm used to. It's a bit softer, and you don't need to use a ton of it. It goes on clear, which is a huge win. My black t-shirts no longer look like they've been attacked by a ghost. The only downside is the price. It's a little more expensive than the stuff you get at the grocery store. But honestly, it lasts a long time, and I'd rather spend a few extra bucks to smell good and not have white marks all over my clothes. So, yeah. I'm a fan. If you're looking to upgrade your pit game and not smell like a middle school dance, give this a try. You won't regret it.

I like the fresh scent and it has a minty quality to it. Doesn't leave a film which is nice and does not have a over powering menthol scent to it even though it has a cooling effect when you first put it on. I don't really sweat that much to begin with or have a problem with being stinky, but if I am going to be out and about all day or go to the gym etc. its nice to have a deodorant on that is natural and works well. Some natural products have oils in them and leave residue on your clothes or can break you out/irritate your skin. This one does not do that. I've tried many over the years and this is my favorite.

I wanted this deodorant to work so bad!! I am on a mission to find a deodorant that can withstand BO and a 12 hour high stress work week. Unfortunately day one of using this, the protection level didn’t last. After just a few hours into my shift I smelled like BO. I appreciated the smell and the cool sensation when applying. This is my first foray into non aluminum deodorant. I read so many reviews on this deodorant and decided to try it out. This product smells soooo good. Maybe a touch on the masculine side but to be honest it smells herbally and piney, very natural which I think works for females as well and I like natural scents. I don’t have sensitive skin so I can’t really say much about that topic but I never had any reaction or redness to this deo. It’s worked great. I will say I’m not someone who perspires excessively but when I workout I did notice a slight odor. But then, I just worked out so who isn’t sweaty and a bit gross after a workout? I would love my hubby to try this out, he’s concerned with the deodorant not containing aluminum. I’ll see about working on him. Hehe Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.
