  • URRAX Mens Comfortable Slip On Loafers Size 12
Size: 12 Color: W2-black-03
First Size - The shoes did not come in various half sizes and widths, and for that reason and after reading reviews, I chose to order Size 12. I normally fit comfortably in Size 11.5 Wide, or single E Width. Second Comfort - I have flat feet and high arches. The shoes are comfortable to wear around the house, and taking our Goldendoodles out to do business. Third Ease of putting on - The shoes are very easy to slip on, and that is why I purchased them as I have four Goldendoodles that I need to put my shoes on often to take them out. Cons - Because the shoe did not come in various half size (there were only a few half sizes to choose from) and no wide widths, and the back of the shoe has a very low height, about 3/4 inch, my foot feels like it will slip out of the shoes. If the shoe came in half-sizes and Widths, or at least Wide and Narrow, and the back of the shoe's lip was about 1-1/4 inch high (the rear lip of the shoe will fold down when slipping on, and not sit behind the heal of your foot making it more secure) - I believe this shoe would be a 5 Star purchase. ... show more

  • For me, the pointed toe took a long time to get used to. Maybe a little small.
Size: 10 Color: W3-khaki
First off, let me get this out of the way. These are very nice-looking shoes. The very first thing my wife said when she saw them was that wow, they look nice. The shoes also seemed to be pretty good quality, and after a month of wearing have held up nicely. When I ordered these, I didn't really notice that the toe of this shoe is pointy, more like a dress shoe than a casual shoe. Pointed toes tend to give you less room up front, and these shoes are exactly like that. They were not comfortable at all the first time I put them on and in fact I thought they were substantially too small. It took me a couple of weeks of wearing them before I broke them in enough that the canvas material stretched out and allowed my big toe some “breathing room.” So, I would say that they started out a little too small but then stretched out enough that they fit OK. I must say though, that even after breaking them in the arch was not all that great. At least on my foot, the arch seems to be a little too far forward on the foot and not quite high enough. It didn't make the shoe uncomfortable, but I ended up having to augment the shoe with an extra orthotic, which of course, defeats the purpose of having an orthopedic style shoe to begin with. So, while these are decent quality shoes that look nice, the orthopedic part of it is maybe not quite as great as it could be. And the pointed toe took me a long time to break in to get room. I'm overall happy with these shoes, I just think they could be a little bit better. ... show more

  • Nice Looking & Comfortable Slip-on Loafers, But Canvas Uppers Feel a Wee Bit Stiff
Size: 10 Color: W3-khaki
When it comes to shoes, my tradition is to find a pair I like and then wear them until they practically disintegrate - which usually means holes in the shoe soles. At this moment in time I have 2 pairs like that, both of which are - sadly - nearing extinction. Accordingly, when I spotted the URRAX Mens Casual Canvas Loafers - even though I don’t have Plantar Fasciitis - I thought I’d give them a try. Here are my impressions so far: * Let me start with the one potential negative of this shoe (see pic #1) which is a crease across the front upper portion of the shoe (circled in red). This began showing itself - if I recall correctly - after wearing the shoe the 1st time. My belief is it’s caused by a relative stiffness in the canvas material. Not a big deal, but clearly not preferable. * Perhaps pic #2 should have been first, but right out of the box the top of the left shoe had 2 blackish spots on the canvas. Each shoe was enclosed within a soft fabric bag on which there were a few black insignia’s. My guess is that perhaps some of the blackness of the insignia was rubbed onto the canvas. I eventually used some fabric spot remover and almost completely got these spots out. * As pics #3-6 show, the shoes have a nice look about them and seem to fit well. I traditionally have worn a size 10.5 but have gradually changed to 11 or 11.5. This pair is a size 11 and seems to fit a WEE BIT tight (just barely), mostly felt when putting the shoes on. * Pics #7 & 8 reflect the following from the description: “The shock-absorbing and non-slip design ensures you can walk confidently on any surface, both indoors and outdoors.” These pictures were taken after a number of hours walking on cement, carpet, wooden floors, black asphalt, etc. . I find this impressive since the shoe bottoms barely reflected much use at all. * Finally, let me highlight this verbiage from the description: “Although lightweight, the sole provides great cushioning and is perfect for everyday wear.” The very first tactile sensation I had after removing the shoes from their respective cloth bags was how very lightweight the shoes are. ... show more

  • Basically it's comfortable
Size: 9 Color: W2-black
I have never really been able to wear slip-on shoes because of a high instep (the part between the toes and the high ankle). These are made so that I can wear them, so they are designed well from that perspective. However, they are slip-on and the backs of the shoes are raised so that each time I step into the shoe, the back collapses and I need to find it and pull it back. I have tried keeping my finger in there but they fit well, so that is not easy. They are a great-looking pair of shoes and I'll probably continue to wear them but not as a primary shoe or on days when I anticipate a lot of walking. They are probably relegated to going outside to get the mail or the dog's evening strolls. I like them but I wouldn't get another pair. Also, I would prefer they came in half sizes. 8 1/2 to be exact. I bought a 9 and the lack of a wider-sized shoe might have an impact on my comfort level as well. ... show more
