There's very little stretch, but it's so soft and fits perfectly even after being washed and dried. Most baby hoodie type sweatshirts don't have enough space between the actual sweatshirt and the hood so they're tight when the hood is over their head. There’s no stretch to this product AT ALL. Have you tried to put a toddler in something that doesn’t stretch? It’s NOT fun. I gave it 3 stars because it is well made and it fit as expected. Got this for a two year old that is at the lowest percentile in size and weight in his daycare. This say 2-3 year old's but both shirts were the same size and were barely big enough for him. The pros are that it is plenty long and doesn't keep leaving their belly hanging out and appears to be made well except for a 1 year old instead of the 2-3 year old on the page and package. ... show more
