We have two Christmas trees every year, and both are artificial. We like to put our trees up for Thanksgiving, and leave them up until New Years. Real trees dry out pretty fast in the warmer climate in California. But, I miss the smell of real trees, so I try to use candles and oils to give us that warmth of a real tree. I saw this reed diffuser oil refill that smells like pine trees. It's made from Essential oils of several different pine trees, and not artificial scents. I haven't used it yet, but the smell of the oil is the fragrance of Christmas trees. I look forward to putting this in one of the rooms, and a pillar candle I bought in the other. I'll be interested in seeing which one will offer the best scent. The Urban Naturals reed oil should offer the best as it's scent will be constantly filling the room, where the candle will be providing the scent when it's lit. The Urban Naturals is an 8 oz refill, so you can pour it into your diffuser jar, or, I assume, you can put the sticks in this bottle. It's a narrow jar, so be careful that you don't knock it over. This is a great price for a wonderful reed diffuser. I tried the lemon verbena scent previously and I was so impressed I immediately placed an order for this Balsam Forest oil. It did not disappoint. I always use a very expensive brand of reed diffusers in my home at the holidays because I love the aroma of fresh cut pine trees. Unfortunately, I don't love the price, but I always thought that was what I had to spend to make my home smell so good. Then I found this Urban Naturals Balsam Forest option. It feels like Christmas. This Urban Naturals Balsam Forest essential oil reed diffuser achieves that same aromatherapy feeling at less than one third the cost of the name brand diffuser I've been using. I see from other reviews I’m not alone in ordering this in advance of having to use artificial winter decor - that sharp evergreen scent is half the reason for the season! I live in a small condo and found this to quite overwhelm it, so I’m glad for the tip to remove a few of the reeds to soften it. The scent itself is terrific. Love this line of high quality and non-toxic diffuser essential oil. Like other scents that I have of this brand, the smell is very natural, non overpowering and spot on. This particular scent will bring you right to Christmas morning... or a tree farm. The size of the bottle/ refill will certainly last through the holiday season.     • Smells Great Works As Advertised
I love the smell of the pine trees and this product offers exactly that. I used all the reeds at first and the scent was a little too strong for the room I placed it in, but that is easy to adjust by lessening how many reeds I use. Great product Pine-tastic scent!
