I am reviewing the Urban Decay Lip Toy pH Staining Lip Oil, a lip caring oil that promises up to 24-hour hydration and a pH-reactive stain that provides a high-shine, non-sticky gloss. I ordered the pink shade and was excited to try it out, especially since it reacts to my own pH levels. My experience with this Urban Decay product was overwhelmingly positive. The product is fun to use, smells amazing, feels wonderful, and looks even better. I was pleasantly surprised by the color. The last time I tried a pH product, it was so bright and bold that it made me feel a little clownish. This time, the pink shade complemented my fair skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes perfectly. I tried to take a picture of just my lips, but it wasn’t the best quality because it was too dark. I’ll include it anyway. The scent of this product is so good that you almost want to eat it! Of course, you know you can’t. Another favorite feature is the hydration. I know it’s infused with hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and vitamin E, but I can genuinely feel that it’s hydrating my lips. I need that. What I love about lip stain is when it has endurance - when it stays put. This product does just that. It goes on glossy, and several hours later, my lips still have that beautiful pink tint. I like this so much that I visited the brand’s page and bookmarked it. For me, this is definitely a keeper.
At the time of my review in May 2026, the product’s price was $24.00. I find this price reasonable considering the quality and features it offers. While some lip products cost less, others are significantly more expensive. The product’s pH-reactive feature, hydrating properties, ability to meet its promises, and the fact that it exceeded my expectations, is why it has earned my full star review.

This is a decent lip oil, but I notice basically zero staining. I know it says “low” stain, which tells me that it’s not supposed to be super noticeable. However, in the product photos on the listing, you can clearly see the models lips have gotten a bit more pink. Also, in one of my swatch photos, one looks slightly pink. You almost have to look very hard to see it, but maybe the low stain just matches my actual lip shade and I just can’t see any difference. I left it on for about 20-ish minutes to see the stain, but never could. Now for the formula, it’s good! It feels nice on the lips. It’s very smooth, not sticky, and gives a nice glossy look to the lips. It’s also very easy to apply. It’s not messy either. With it being a lip oil, the longevity isn’t great. If you drink or eat anything, most will disappear. So you’ll have to reapply throughout the day. Overall, I think it’s a good lip product. It has a nice shimmer, gives my lips a high shine, and feels good. It doesn’t feel too heavy whilst wearing. It covers my lips easily too. I think the value is there, but I just wouldn’t expect much pigment at all. It would probably be better to just think of this as a clear gloss with shimmer. Regardless of the lack of staining, the formula is good so I’d still recommend.

This PH Lip Toy glossing stain oil by Urban Decay in Fuzzed, is really different from some of the other lip oils I have tried. It has a really nice peach flavor…many lip oils have an oily feel/taste, but this one definitely does not. The peach flavor makes this so fun to wear, and because this is a PH intuitive neutral shade (and your “just for you”shade), this will look good on everyone. I have fair skin for reference, and it has a pinkish brown hue on me which I love! So you get one gloss oil, in an easy to dispense tube, that you can squeeze out as little or much as you need for the look you are going for. The slanted lip tip makes applying it to your lips super easy, and with great precision. Once on, this gloss keeps lips supple and well-moisturized, without being super sticky. Urban Decay is a PETA-certified brand, which means it is a cruelty-free product. LOVE! LOVE, LOVE THAT! Beauty without cruelty…sign me up. I really love this, and would definitely get this again, because the stain looks really good on my lips, lasts as long as I would expect a gloss to last, offers even coverage, and my lips overall look. I would definitely order this again, especially in this same beautiful shade!

Color: Sauced (mango chamoy) - Red, High Stain
I decided to be bold and try something different. I usually wear mauve colors for lip shades. I just thought this color, Sauced, was really pretty for being red (which I don't usually like). I think this will look fantastic for special events or holidays. As far as quality goes, it's very nice and doesn't feel heavy at all. I like that I can apply just a little and get a subtle effect, or layer it on for a really bold effect. This lasts on my lips all day, even with eating, and with drinking water constantly throughout the day. I was pretty impressed that it lasts for so long. I've used Urban Decay products before so I felt confident experimenting with a new color with this brand. I would recommend this!

This is a review for "Urban Decay Lip Toy pH Staining Lip Oil - Lip-Caring Oil With Up To 24HR Hydration + All-Day pH-Reactive Stain, High Shine Non-Sticky Gloss - Fresita (Strawberry Milkshake) - Pink, High Stain" I have sensitive skin, and react to many cosmetics. This is a new product to me, so I did a patch test by applying a little of this lip oil to my inner elbow and left it for several hours, then washed it off, and checked again for reaction after 24: hours and I did not notice any reaction in that location. I also found that it did not cause any reaction when I tried it on my lips. However, I found that the lip oil was just slightly tricky to apply in a controlled manner with this applicator tube. It's easy to squeeze out a little too much product, then requiring smoothing out to distribute. It must be done carefully, because this color changing lip oil quickly leaves a stain on the skin- so you don't want it applied sloppily. The oil is described as non-sticky, but I do not agree with that description. When I attempted to wash the lip oil off, I found that it left behind a sticky feeling which required thick moisturizing lotion to disguise. This probably indicates that it's going to be a long wearing formula, but since I didn't really like how it felt sticky to wear, I removed it with a lot of scrubbing, and can't really speak to longevity of wear. However, since it was challenging to remove the residue, it is probably fairly long wearing for a lip gloss/lip oil. It does seem like it is a quality product. The color is lovely, but I didn't care for the feel of this thick, somewhat sticky oil on my lips, so while it is a nice product, it just isn't right for me.
