My son was so frustrated with not being able to sit up by himself but wanting to, and this chair completely resolved that dilemma. I love that its design is made to fit the natural curve of a baby’s hips instead of forcing them into an unnatural position. This seat is super easy to use and very durable. The tray table has taken a beating with toys and still looks brand new, no scratches. It might be seemingly pricey for a chair, but it’s worth every penny.

I absolutely loved this seat. It worked AMAZING for my baby. He used it from 4m till about 6M. I used the tray it comes with religiously, he ate a lot of meals in this seat. It is sturdy, easy to travel with and it fit him great despite him being a chunker. I wish it came in more colors!

Its first I had a Bumbo and upon seeing so many people say that they were bad for hip development I decided to try out this seat. First, I love that it comes with a tray and with straps to attach to a chair. We attached it to one of our chairs and our daughter loved being close to us while we ate. It was also very sturdy on the chair, didn’t budge at all. My daughter is quite chunky and her little legs fit perfectly in this chair! I’d say it’s worth the cost to have something that is hip-healthy and a great way for your baby to practice sitting up!

Update: After this review, Upseat customer service reached out and apologized about my complaints. They let me know they have corrected the rough edge issue and sent me a new seat. It is definitely better made! They also sent a mat that attaches to the seat and helps the seat stay stationary. With these upgrades, I would change my initial review and say I would keep the seat. The customer service was great! I ordered this seat before our little one arrived and was so excited to use it when he was old enough. He finally was able to use it starting a two months ago and I'm so disappointed in it. First off, it looks like corners were cut making this seat. It's made from a rubber-like material, and the edges are bumpy and rough. It could have (and should have) been smoothed out. Second, I had my 4 month old in this seat on the ground and he could push his feet down on the floor and the seat would start to tip back-- a 4 month old could do this-- I can't imagine using this seat for an older, stronger baby. Some pros- I do like that my baby sits straight up in it and it has ample room for his healthy thighs. It's also very easy to clean, especially if your baby is a messy eater like mine! Overall, I wish I could return this. I'm so disappointed in it. It was a waste of money and I would not recommend to any parent.

This seat is amazing! We have used it for both our kids, and it has helped them tremendously in helping them learn how to sit upright and sit correctly. We've used it to teach our kiddos to eat as well. Its a great, long lasting item. Its also so easy to use and clean, and great for visiting family.
