Its first I had a Bumbo and upon seeing so many people say that they were bad for hip development I decided to try out this seat. First, I love that it comes with a tray and with straps to attach to a chair. We attached it to one of our chairs and our daughter loved being close to us while we ate. It was also very sturdy on the chair, didn’t budge at all. My daughter is quite chunky and her little legs fit perfectly in this chair! I’d say it’s worth the cost to have something that is hip-healthy and a great way for your baby to practice sitting up!

This is very easy to use, it’s super sturdy and sooo functional. As you can take it out with you, or leave it at home. It clips to chairs, and is super fun for babies to play in! I love the age range for it. And how babies don’t look incredibly uncomfortable in it. The deep thigh slots, and posture seating is amazing.

My daughter had this Upseat. I liked it so much, that after spending the day with them, I went home & purchased it for Grandma’s house. I love how it keeps the baby in an upright position. I love how sturdy it is & how easy it is to clean. I think it’s great that you can use it table top for small ones & as a booster seat as the kids grow. I also love that Upseat is a small family run business. I had an opportunity to speak with them on the phone & the response was fantastic.

Originally bought a similar product but had to return it due to lack of leg room for my granddaughter’s adorable chubby thighs. She’s 5 months now and has plenty of room. The seat is made of smooth plastic. Sturdy and stable seat but lightweight enough to carry with one hand. Great seat to take a long. Baby can sit and play or use as a portable high chair. Great way to ease into sitting alone too.

Love this item. We also used it in the bath, amd it worked great. Soft enough foam to be come, held up very well. Firm enough that it didn't bend or give. Love that it supports a healthy spine

Update: After this review, Upseat customer service reached out and apologized about my complaints. They let me know they have corrected the rough edge issue and sent me a new seat. It is definitely better made! They also sent a mat that attaches to the seat and helps the seat stay stationary. With these upgrades, I would change my initial review and say I would keep the seat. The customer service was great! I ordered this seat before our little one arrived and was so excited to use it when he was old enough. He finally was able to use it starting a two months ago and I'm so disappointed in it. First off, it looks like corners were cut making this seat. It's made from a rubber-like material, and the edges are bumpy and rough. It could have (and should have) been smoothed out. Second, I had my 4 month old in this seat on the ground and he could push his feet down on the floor and the seat would start to tip back-- a 4 month old could do this-- I can't imagine using this seat for an older, stronger baby. Some pros- I do like that my baby sits straight up in it and it has ample room for his healthy thighs. It's also very easy to clean, especially if your baby is a messy eater like mine! Overall, I wish I could return this. I'm so disappointed in it. It was a waste of money and I would not recommend to any parent.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This chair had good reviews for hip development and keeping spine straight. It also made our baby very happy! She laughed out loud fir the first time. It enabled her to independently be a part of the family. You could tell she thought she was a big girl like her sisters. The best present I could have bought. Well worth the price.
