This UPPAbaby Mamaroo Smart Swing is such a high step up from the baby swings of years ago. It does everything. It plays soft music to soothe the baby, and is bluetooth enabled. It has soothing movements meant to help a baby go to sleep. We bought this to fulfill an item on the baby registry and they were thrilled to receive it. It was relatively easy to assemble and be ready for use. It's done in nice, neutral colors, I ordered the Wells(Dark Taupe Melange). It is easy to use, the controls are handy and right in front under the part where the baby lays. There is an insert for the newborn to keep them stable. It has a mobile over the baby's head that he can watch, but I think they replaced it with another one. It's a well made and sturdy baby swing, it comforts a baby safely, and is a nice looking piece of baby equipment. It is somewhat pricey, but I think all the nicer baby things now are, but it seems to be well worth the price. ... show more

This was worth the money! 6 months in and we're still using it all over the house. No issues with the motor or sounds. The only thing I could want is more sound choices, but Bluetooth is there available.

We love this swing. The 5 point harness was a huge selling point for us. The quality is amazing and it was so easy to put together. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is we have had issues with the Bluetooth features. Uppababy’s customer service has been great to work with us though.

    • Poorly made, incorrect refund, stay away

This was a product I was eager to use, but it’s been nothing but a disappointment. The first one sent had a glitch that caused jerky movement. Customer support helped troubleshoot and then sent a new base. The second base had the same issue. I asked to return for a refund and Uppababy refused saying they don’t do refunds. They have now sent a whole new swing and I must return the original. For a product that costs this much I’m very disappointed and would never recommend. Curious to see if the third will work and have little hope. Edit: the entire new swing also had the same issue. Uppababy finally agreed to a return of both and refund. Second Edit: refund received but they refused to refund the tax since I purchased from Amazon. I was not allowed to return to Amazon though so this isn’t of my own fault. This is the second swing my baby has tried and he absolutely loves this one! It puts him right to sleep! It’s super easy to assemble and I love that I can change the settings of the swing from my phone. I think the swing is worth the money for the quality of the item you get!
