What I like about this mount is it sturdiness. It looks like it can last for a long time; it hold the phone steady, and I like that, but there are a few things that can be improved to make this mount worthy of the high price tag. The first one is the spring mechanism that allows you to place the phone in the brackets: it is difficult to reach from behind the phone. The other issue is the horrible pad that sits in the place of the original Jeep pad. Guys come on! You can do much much better than that! ... show more

The problem with most phone holders in jeeps for people that actually use theirs offroad is that they lack the rigidity and robustness to hold your phone. My 100$ plus one I was using before constantly had my phone fly around and fall off. However this is rock solid and holds my phone regardless of how much terrain I endure!
