This is by far the best thing I’ve purchased for my Jeep. The visor was broken on the driver side and with every bump, it would fall down. I stumbled onto this product and it completely solved my problem! The directions were clear and easy to follow. I was able to install it by myself in less than 10 minutes! It’s been about a month now and it’s still holding up well. Excellent value for the money.

Once I got it installed, it works great. Allow me to provide a couple of comments on the description/instructions. 1. This kit is for repairing 2 visors. I only needed to fix one, and so I assumed when I ordered it, it was to fix a single visor. I spent several minutes trying to figure out how both clips were fastened together to repair the visor before I realized my assumption was wrong. 2. Instructions say to adjust the visor to the window orientation - but then all the pictures don't show the visor moved at all. Suffice it to say, you can't get the screwdriver in place to tighten the screws unless the visor has been moved all the way to the window (passenger window if fixing passenger visor, driver window if fixing the driver visor). 3. They describe a front ("set screws") and back ("flat") side of the clip. Instructions aren't real clear, but it worked for me with the back side of the clip positioned against the roof of the jeep, with the front side facing down. Make sure the opening in the clip is not facing the windshield. The Phillips screws went through the front side. If you have a helper to help hold it all together while you put the Phillips screws in and tighten them, it is very helpful. 4. Although the provided Phillips head screw driver was appreciated, I ended up using my own, beefier screwdriver to adequately tighten the clip in place. The provided screwdriver is prone to slipping.

I have had non-functional, useless visors on my Jeep Gladiator for over a year. Long story short, this is apparently a common problem with Jeeps Wranglers and Gladiators, but a little internet searching delivered my salvation in the form of this kind of repair kit, and there are lots to choose from on Amazon. This one is very sturdy, looks good, is easy to install, and comes with clear instructions and the type of star and Phillips-head drivers/allen wrenches you will need to install these metal clips. Problem solved!

This product does exactly what it is intended to do. I removed a star because the install was slightly harder than expected. It was still fairly easy, but it would help to have a second set of hands to hold the visor once it’s unscrewed. I was impressed with the quality and durability of the product and have no concerns about it in the future.
