This item came to my door very quickly and it was packaged well but what got me was the quality that was put into this product it's actually a great item I've seen online these things for sale for a whole lot more than these guys are selling it for and I tell you this is as good or better than any of those I'm able to use these both on my existing lines to get extra length I'm able to use it as a shut off I'm able to use it in many different ways and I'm happy that I picked these up I do recommend it the fit and finish is good everything is functioning very well the tolerance is on them are excellent it's a great value for your money and I have no problems with it leaking at all the Seal Seal up well the valves close very well and they open very well I had no problem with being able to take the seal out and put the seal back in in the event that in the future that it wears out and I'll have to change it it's not a hassle to do so.

Generally appears to be good quality. The ball type shut off valves operate firmly but seal tight. The brass fittings on both ends are well finished with good quality threads and deep knurling making it easy to tighten by hand. The male fitting threads come protected with soft plastic seal caps you'll pull off before using, a nice touch. The Amazon listing calls this a "low loss adapter hose". The female fitting collar is NOT a true "low loss" fitting, it's just a regular fitting with a Schrader valve depressor. That's why it gets only four stars. I'm guessing they call this a low loss fitting because with the ball valve shut off, when you disconnect the female fitting from a pressurized Schrader valve fitting, it won't lose much refrigerant because the hose is only 9" long rather than the approximately five feet of normal gauge hoses. However, you could still get a refrigerant burn if high pressure liquid refrigerant comes out while connecting or disconnecting. A true low loss fitting avoids this danger. Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses when connecting refrigerant hoses.

so far so good, only used them 1x on a mini split and they worked fine. maybe a little long for me but thats ok for the price. shut off valve feels good and tight. no leaks so far but i'm gonna keep an eye on the seals from the warning of the other reviewer. if there is an issue ez enough tp change them out. if they have any issues i'll come back and review but so far i have no complaints and they work the way they should. you can get many for a cheaper price so i expect these to last me and be descent quality without issue so time will tell.

Just in a few uses it goes broke, loses the kink vault, and the rubber that is inside I don't think that this is gone a resolve your problem, just get a full set of hoses

These short extension hoses with cutoff valves are quite handy for reaching awkward fittings. Additionally, the cutoff valve means that the expensive R12 and R22 refrigerants in your 60 inch hoses don't get wasted; you lose 9" worth of volume instead of 60". While this may not seem like a lot, it certainly adds up over the course of a year. All told, they're a great addition to an HVAC tech's toolkit.

Upon receiving I noticed a bit of cheap feeling. I found the seals leaking on 2 of them after about a week of use so I replaced all of them with quality seals and haven't had any further issues with it. I would check the seals that comes with them. It had me chasing a leak on a unit for like 15 minutes before I ended up bubble testing the new lines.
