This vise feels very solid. I like the flexibility of screwing it on/off to move to different places on my workbench. My first use was to change grips on my golf clubs. It performed this task easily allowing me to cut off the old grips, scrape of the old tape and replace tape and slide on grips. It feels like it could do much more. Vise is quite sturdy and works as you would expect. The plastic parts that are used to protect items/or your table seem pretty flimsy and don't stay on. I ended up using some wood blocks to protect my table. They are also kind of greasy it seems. Maybe that's from the vise to protect the metal? The bottom lever that stops the vise from swiveling is quite hard to actuate, but works. Came in handy to hold a mirror support so I could drill the holes in the aluminum a bit bigger. ... show more

Really like this clamp vice, can move it or store it out of the way if need be. It's big enough for almost everything I do (mostly bike things), there are plastic inserts for the jaws and for the top.bottom of the clamp as well. It spins around 360 -- and although the photos say you need to use a wrench to tighten it, mine has a lever that tightens it up from the top -- really easy. ... show more
