Installed in a day in my 2003 f250 6.0. Not as difficult as I thought it would be. It’s been a couple of months and it still working great! I live in the southwest so it needs to work well and it has to this point.

    • Does not fit my 2001 f150 5.4
This unit does not fit my truck. The compressor has 6 groves in the clutch pulley where as my 2001 f150 has 8. The product look well made but the only way it might fit is by using the old pulley clutch assembly. Too much of hassle to gamble modifying this unit. Returned instead.

El equipo muy bueno solo q no me era compatible con mi auto lo que no entiendo por que tanta demora para devolver el dinero del 11 de septiembre que lo envié hasta el 5 de octubre no depositan el dinero creo que es demasiado abusivo y falta de respeto con el cliente.

    • Seems decent and installed nicely
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the dryer dimensions were a bit different making the reinstallation of all the plastic covers more time-consuming. Overall, the compressor so far is working well. I just installed it on 7\13\19 so will update if the unit quits prematurely. This same kit at local stores was more than double the price. The unit came with 8 oz of PAG oil which was nice but didn't come with flush. Don't forget to flush your system before installing new unit or warranty will be void. The media could not be loaded. I just spent a ton of money on my ford Diesel truck. The one thing I skimpt on was this a/c unit. My truck is about finished. Took it out for a drive, kept smelling something that smelled like burnt. But couldn’t put my head around it. Well it got dark and I look at my truck with smoke billowing from underneath. It’s the flippin a/c compressor dropping small flames ashes on the ground. This thing was glowing orange. To think that drop $25,000 on my diesel truck front to back & it’s this crappy p.o.s that could have made it a complete loss. I have not contacted this distributor. Other reviews tend to lead toward bad communication from them. If they reply I’ll be surprised. This will cost me a great deal more than the part to make right @ the cost of $135 an hour for my mechanic plus a better quality compressor & more refrigerant.
