Description

The FUSION system is a modular, multi-purpose mounting system designed to give the end user extreme flexibility in mounting options. It was engineered from the ground up to provide a strong mounting base with the widest range of configurations while remaining lightweight and inexpensive The system consists of a base with several accessories adapters. The current offerings encompass a wide range of current devices to include lights, lasers, optics, and ancillary equipment. Because the mounting system is standardized we are able to introduce new accessory mounts as equipment and TTP’s change, reducing time to market and maximizing effectiveness. FUSION was designed to maximize the use of rail space while remaining lightweight and low profile. The micro hub is constructed from precision milled 6061-T6 aluminum that is then Type 3 anodized in black or FDE for durability. The interface points are very strong and provide for a very rigid mount. The micro hub has 2 mounting surfaces; a top surface and wing surface. All wing accessories are reversible. The combination of equipment configurations is immense and we will continue to add accessories to expand the capabilities of the system.

I ordered the Micro Hub and it arrived two days later. Upon opening the packaging the first thing I noticed is the item appeared to not be complete, which is difficult to imagine since it is a solid chunk of aluminum. After comparing what I had in my hands to the online images, yup, one of the two mounting platforms was missing and it was not in the package... looks like it was shipped out broken from the manufacturer if I had to guess. I uploaded three images so see for yourself. I called Unity customer service & it went to voicemail, and after 24 hours later no returned call. So I called Unity a second time the following day and the same thing, right to voicemail and so far no return call. Instead of waiting any longer for Unity Customer Service to call me back I decided to order a second Micro Hub to quicken the delivery time, as opposed to just simply exchanging the broken one (in case someone/anyone from Unity might actually return my phone calls and wanted the broken one sent to them for QC). Now, instead of the previous 2-day delivery it's now taking 4 days to deliver... minor annoyance yes, but it's going to be late for my friends birthday at this point. So yes, I'm very disappointed, and would give a half star if I could. All of this could have been avoided if Unity wasn't shipping out broken chunks of aluminum, or maybe if their customer service actually answered the phone, much less return voice mails in a timely manner. ... show more

Item seemed like it was used. Some dings and marks but eventually did not need it on the spot. However it mounted well and sturdy. Great material great company.
