Honestly not the most beautiful shoe. However these are extremely comfortable. I have arthritis in my feet and it causes them to swell to the point where I cannot wear most shoes. I love these canvas shoes because they run wide. When my feet swell these fit perfectly without constricting. The sole is actually pretty thick which lets me wear them out and about if I need too. The nonslip was important to me because I can lose my balance easily. The quality is really good for only $12.77. I would love it if they came in more colors. ... show more

Believe the reviewers that say it is like walking barefoot. Very uncomfortable since you can feel the tiniest particals on your floors or, if your brave enough to try them outside (which I was not), I am confident the tinest pebble. I returned mine.

When I was in high school back in the 1990s, I used to buy ballet flats from Pier One (iykyk). I lived in them, and they were some of the more comfortable shoes I owned. Absolutely no support to speak of and mostly made from cardboard, but for some reason, they absolutely worked for me. These shoes are very similar to those in terms of build. The sole is more sturdy, but the top is still made from canvas and cardboard. I have been wearing them around my house since I got them, and they are very comfortable, and I haven't slipped at all on my hardwood floors. They look exactly like the listing. They do run a little big. I am a solid 9.5 women's/8 mens/UK 41, and these are loose on me to the point where they fit better if I'm wearing thick wool socks, which works great in the winter. If I were to get these again, I would order a 9 women's/7.5 men's. Still, they are very comfortable to wear around the house. I was worried because I have a really high instep, but these did not interfere with or rub on the tops of my feet at all. I'm not going to run marathons in them, but I do take Tai Chi classes, and these shoes will be perfect for that. ... show more
