If you're trying to connect them shoes by hand it takes a lot of effort. I just got a new Schwinn IC4 exercise bike and it uses a 2-screw cleat. I had to return another pair of shoes I got for this purpose because no matter how tightly I screwed the cleats in place, they would end up sideways when I clipped out at the end of my ride. These are so much better and a lot more comfortable. I have not experienced the issue some other users have reported with the top strap not buckling tight enough. I have no real complaints about these shoes. I deducted one star because the cleats were still shifting a little even though I tightened the screws as much as I dared. But it was very minor and I loosened the receptacle cleat on the pedal to compensate and have had no problems since then

Had to return the 1st pair. I normally wear a 10 1/2 for shoes so based on the sizing chart I ordered 9 which were a little too tight on the length. The 9.5 fit great! Haven’t ridden my road bike with them yet but changed out the cleats to SPD-SL with no problem. Waiting for the rain to stop so I can give them a test. The ratchet works as it should and they feel secure.

They're a decent value. -- Had to try a couple pairs. 9 too loose, so couldn't twist to activate release. 8 is too tight, and apparently they don't have 8 1/2. But their customer service is good and responsive.

I went with a much smaller size. Still does not fit great. The top strap needs more room to go tighter. I have slipped out of the shoes. Good price but I guess I get what I pay for. If you are a casual rider these will do. But if you want to train with intensity I would not recommend.

These shoes are a perfect alternative to the Peloton brand shoes. They’re comfortable, easy to strap up, and stylish. I had to use the hex key (included) to tighten one of the shoe blocks, but it’s worked great since!
