Apart from the very easy to confuse assembly steps (some things aren't reversible and are easy to get backwards), the assembly went well even without a helper. Pros: - Very sturdy when fully assembled and bolts are tightened - Ample desk space - Looks great with LEDs - very dim LEDs make "cubby" spaces visible in darkness - under-desk storage great for small electronics. - Very extensible, MDF is higher quality than other desks - Paint on the metal frame is fairly durable - Larger than it appears in the Amazon Listing Cons: - LED strips are a bit cheap - LED remote is equally cheap. The "orange" and "yellow" colors are really bad. - LED "white" doesn't use white LEDs, it uses a combination of RGB leds. - Frame welds could be more robust - Should come with cable management clips - Kinda heavy when fully assembled (which is to be expected) Adjustments I made: - I didn't like the brace between the sections so I took that out, and it's still very sturdy. - I use desk clamps to mount my ring light and monitors, which was a bit of a challenge with the two layer design. I was able to get around it, but beware that not all desk clamps will fit. I had to use a monitor stand that was able to clamp on the bottom level, since I have a lot of weight in monitors. - I placed a TV speaker bar in the front, ended up mounting it to the bottom of the upper level panels - I added 2 USB hubs on the left and right of the cental desk panel - I added cable management clips with mounting tape Overall, It's a great desk. Very sturdy and looks great. Nice to have so much desk space. Some of the later instructions were a little vague, but overall pretty easy to put together. The LED lights are nice but are not super bright and the colors don't quite match what the remote labels say they should be (white is very bluish and yellow is very greenish). The media could not be loaded. I got my product today. Put it together with my husband within about 1 - 1.5 hrs. I found it simple, yet instructions weren't very descriptive. Pay close attention when setting up as we had to redo a few things. I want to give 5 stars right out of the box because it honestly looks great, feels sturdy, and you can make it whatever you need with the placement. BUT there were a few dents (one I show you in the video is on a shelf) and also areas of white spray paint. Not in important locations, but nonetheless something to note. Lots of space with the setup I have, you can add a lot of bins or baskets on the shelves for any supplies. With the top shelf on, the desk fits my lap top tight but overall okay. It's very easy to remove the shelves if necessary. Came within allotted time. Overall happy with my purchase! I will update as time goes on. ... show more

After three weeks of waiting due to issues with FedEx delivery, FedEx finally declared the original package lost and I reached out to the seller to let them know. They immediately sent a replacement desk and it was promptly delivered. I began assembly last night. Unit assembles easily however I suggest your own tools and not the tools sent with the desk. While they DO work, my own tools made things go together much more smoothly. The product is WELL worth the price I paid... roomy and very sturdy. Good instrictions on assembly... easy to follow all the options. The seller is OUTSTANDING! I communicated the issues I was dealing with FedEx Ground in my area throughout the process. I was immediately shipped a replacement unit. Its HEAVY when all in one box so I recommend getting some assistance moving the box until you begin to break out the parts. Well packaged so no dings or scrapes. Easy assembly - I hae done the entire process myself but may go easier with a second person. First class seller ALL THE WAY! Thank you! ... show more

I've been a remote worker for the last 3.5 years. (Thanks Covid). I'll never go back. I had been working on a foldable 6 ft craft table. Terrible, I know. Decided to take the plunge and get something for my 3 monitor setup, which also includes an additional laptop, printer, desk phone, mouse, keyboard, Webcam, speaker, and microphone. I assembled this desk in about 2.5 hours. No breaks. Instructions were easy to follow. The desk itself is solid. Plenty of room for all my equipment. It's beautiful. One of the light strips doesn't work, but that's not why I purchased the desk anyway. I'll be working, not throwing a rave. I sit comfortably at it, with plenty of room to move about some. For once, I'm looking forward to Monday...mostly. ... show more

I loved that this desk was so versatile. It’s pretty sturdy as well. It took two of us to put it together in about an hour and a half. It looks really nice and fit perfect. The cons: I wish the one end was a little longer. All three desk tops to make the U shape are the same length. Which makes the one end kind of short when making it into an L shape. I bought a file cabinet that was the same height and width to set next to it. You can’t really write on the desktop. A pen doesn’t work without putting something between your paper and the desktop. It’s a little textured. I don’t like the color of the lights. The white light isn’t really a white light. This truly is a gaming desk but I needed it for work. I fit my file cabinet under it as well. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it considering it is a budget friendly desk and does the job well. I only wish they had the desk with white legs. But the black worked. I am a 70+ senior woman, and I was able to put this gaming desk together almost by myself. My grandson helped with the items that required being able to get down under the desk. It was also easy to move once I got it together. It is absolutely sturdy, no wobble it has so much space. I am not a gamer, but I needed lots of space and this desk gave me exactly that.
