I loved that these skates have the detachable plush toy and light up. I bought these for my 4 year old grand daughter for her birthday and her birthday party was at the skating rink. Her theme was unicorn and when she opened these she let out the loudest squeal and immediately took of the skates that she had on that were provided by the skating rink. It was so good to see how big these skates made her smile. Ever since she got them, she puts them on every single day just to roll around the house. The media could not be loaded. I bought these skates for my granddaughter's birthday. She wanted to go skating for her bday so I had to get her own pair of skates. She absolutely loves them. They are very sturdy and good for her little ankles. She also loves the way they light up.

So cute but not for beginners!!! These can not be tightened like roller rink skates can be. Their tightest level still rolls free and loose. Not only that, but the little bit of tightening you do get, immediately loosens back up. Carpet and grass, as recommended, doens not matter. That is how loose they are at their tightest. These skates are for more experience children. But a very fun and cute style!
