I have been purchasing these sneakers for my fiance for over 6 years now. I buy a pair every 3 to 4 months. He loves them. They are comfortable for him to work in and his back and leg no longer ache. He is a contractor and does not like boots and other sneakers though expensive they did not last but 2 to 3 weeks. I purchase these shoes for my son. He has a wide and big foot and it's hard find a shoes that fits after going to every shoes store around us to try and find a 13 Wide I resorted to Amazon and finally found this shoe in stock!!! This has been his go to shoe for the past 2 years I just wish we could find it in more colors so it doesn't t look like he's wearing the same shoes year after year. The fact that they were the right size is huge with me. Even when I go to a brick and mortar it's hard to find the right size even when the manufacturer states that they are. I'm a 9.5 W. The only issue I have and probably isn't and issue at all for most people is that I would like to have had more padding inside the shoe. Specifically in the front. I walk constantly for 8hrs 5 days a week on concrete so this shows up. Most people will not notice this at all. If you're a casual runner, 5mi'ish you'll be fine. If you walk like me or are a serious runner than you should expect to have to put a gel insert into them or go with a different shoe. ... show more

These are highly rated so I thought I'd buy them for jogging. Because of foot problems, I usually have to substitute the footbed in the shoe for an orthotic. I tried these on and they look pretty good and feel pretty good. The sole on them is a little harder and more supportive than other shoes, which I like. Unfortunately, I would still need to use an orthotic to jog in these, as the footbed is somewhat flat and not overly arch-supportive. That's not to say they are a bad shoe, quite the opposite, they are really good. So, currently I'm using them as my biking shoe (mountain, road) and they work great for that. Probably a pretty good walking shoe. Not so sure about using them as a true running shoe, depends on your needs for support. ... show more

Under Armour Assert won me over years ago when I bought a pair of Under Armour Micro G Assert 6. I liked them so much that when I saw them on clearance I bought 2 more pair, left them in the box and stuffed them on a shelf in a closet. They're all worn out now, along with a pair or two of Assert 8s. I now have two colors of the Under Armour Charged Assert 9s. I find them extremely comfortable. In my line of work, I spend several hours per day on my feet with lots of walking. They provide me with the comfort and support I need. ... show more

This shoe surprisingly delivered on comfortability and has held up quite well. I started running 5ks lately and it has held up through 5 or so months so far of training and long distance running. I also occasionally wear them during my day and they feel great!

I needed some new black shoes and tried these. They fit great the first day and I couldn’t be happier. We went on an extended trip for 2 weeks and walked over 65 miles and I wore these shoes for about 99% of the trip.
