  • reliable and comfortable
These shoes provide excellent comfort and support, making my runs more enjoyable. The cushioning is responsive and helps reduce the impact on my feet. The breathable mesh upper keeps my feet cool and dry throughout my workouts. The durability of these shoes is impressive, as they have held up well over time. The traction is outstanding on various surfaces, providing stability and confidence. Overall, the Under Armour Men's Charged Assert 8 Running Shoe is a reliable and comfortable option that I highly recommend to fellow runners. ... show more

  • Looks the same
I have bought my husband six pairs of these shoes and he said that these ones are just a little bit different and the shoelaces are shorter

  • So far, so good.
I had a pair of under armour shoes a few years back, and I don't remember how long they lasted for. Hopefully, these will last at least a year with light use at my job when I walk around all day. Only time will tell. Pros: - Fits good - Good color - "Mesh" seems durable and not like other shoes I've had in the past - Good foot support - Memory foam inserts Cons: - The shoe laces could be a tad bit longer. - Slightly uncomfortable near the tongue of the shoe when tying the laces. However they've loosened up over the past week and it isn't too bad. ... show more

  • great fit and comfort
These are one of the best pair of shoes I have had for running and general workouts. Pros: 1.great fit: I wear US 8.5 and these are a perfect fit for me. I have found some of the other brands like Nike and Reebok are a tad bit bigger than these at the same size. 2. great support and bounce: these shoes are light but provide incredible support and bounce on runs. 3. great for sprints: I usually end my runs with a 100m sprint. I have been using them for the last couple of months now on my runs and I have found them to be particularly better at sprints, the main reason them being lighter better fit and more flexible, compared to some other brands for the same price. It could be just me but I feel like these are better suited for sprints and high performance workouts. Cons: I haven't found much so far in my couple of months of use. They have served me really well so far and I absolutely love them. I wish the mesh top of the shoes could be a little better, but that could be just me. It's not a con but if you wear the same size on some other brands and they are snug fit, these might be a tight fit for you. Overall, these are great value for the money. I got them on a black friday deal and I have found them on sales quite regularly. I am extremely happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Love these shoes, I recommend them to others. Although I do need to tie laces differently.
Size: 10 Color: Black/White
Update: I guess I have a tall left foot (cartilage \ bones) I have to skip one crossover with the laces, midway up or that foot starts to really hurt. There is are really good webpages showing different shoe lacing techniques (I used info from Rick's sporting goods website). Still 5 stars for these shoes. My feet measure: 10.5" long x 4" wide & I'm flat-footed (always). These in Size 10 fit me very well in width, but a bit of extra wiggle room for my toes. I might have been able to go with size 9.5, but I didn't want to risk the return shipping times (long! due to covid-19). I am replacing a pair of Charged Assert 6 which I bought from a thrift store late last year (2019), they were made in Indonesia, January 2017. Most comfortable shoes I have ever worn until putting on these brand new Assert 8s (made in Vietnam, February 2020). I'm in my late 40s, most of my life I'd go to Academy & buy a pair of basic white Nike sneakers, without trying on other brands or styles, I loathed shopping. (Nike has given me more than enough reason to never give them my money again). With the quality and comfort of my 'well used' thrift store Assert 6s I feel I have made a great purchase at this price point. Also feels like I have been cheating myself, my feet & lower back for several decades, but that (& Nike) are in my past. I'm a walker not a runner so I can't say if they are 'good' for you running types. I have walked several hundred miles in my old pair, I'm certain these new 8th gens will perform just as well along with looking much better. ;-) ... show more

  • Decent shoe, not quite as good as my last Under Armor pair
Had a pair of Under Armor Remix FW18 shoes I absolutely loved. One of the best pairs of shoes I ever owned. The only flaw was the sole didn't have a heck of a lot of tread and I started having grip issues when working out or biking after about a year of regular use. Whereas I couldn't find the same shoe again in my size and a colorway I liked, I shifted over to this model. It's a fine shoe, but not quite as good as the Remix FW18. Decent padding, but doesn't quite feel like it forms to my foot like the Remix FW18 did. Also feels a little larger on the whole than the Remix FW18. This might be my own fault, though, as I'm using the pull strap on the back to put the Charged Assert on, which probably means I'm pushing my foot further forward. It also feels a shade heavier than the Remix FW18 did at first and is a little uncomfortable toward my upper-middle foot, though I have very flat feet, which means I might just need insoles. I feel like the shoe will do fine, and the price was right, but I feel like I took a half a step down from the Remix FW18. Still more comfortable than a lot of other athletic shoes I've worn, though. I've had good luck with Reebok, so-so luck with Nike and bad luck with adidas. Under Armour has won me over. ... show more
