UPDATE: I’m keeping these. On learning further, I realized they are great running shoes. Started using these at my community gym. Great investment overall (~$50). Right off the bat, this is a great quality shoe. I just tried these on for quite some time and walked around my apartment. These have really good cushioning, seem pretty sturdy, the colors are nice and contrast one other well. I did feel this shoe is a little on the wide side (I too have small feet, I wear 7.5-8.5 US but still). Didn't find it to be a big deal but it's noticeable. The sole has patterned groves that I'm sure would provide a solid grip too. Should be great for running and other active usages. Yet to wear them for an extended length of time. Will update should anything change.

My only other experience with the UA line of shoes were a pair of Charged Bandit 3s that I have now relegated to gym use. Almost all my family's other UA products meet or exceed expectation, but I was slightly let down by those first pair of shoes. They were not very comfortable and despite having HeatGear socks, they seemed to always keep my feet very hot. During Prime Day, the Charged Assert model came up at a very good price. I decided to roll the dice since they were so inexpensive, I could also relegate them to gym use if I wasn't pleased. Thankfully, this purchase is a different experience. They are more comfortable when wearing them all day and they do not make my feet feel too hot. The jury is out long-term, but so far I am very pleased with these shoes for the price paid and also how they outperform the slightly higher priced (at the time of purchase) Bandit model.

The shoes look nice, but that's it. They can not be used for walking or running. The inner sole is flat, unfortunately, it was not written in any other review, I never saw any shoe like this ever, except for people with flat feet. not recomended.

I dont have a problem with the product! I have a problem with amazon! I needed the black on black shoe for work. When I got the first pair it was black on white, so I called customer service to make sure I ordered the correct pair, when I got the second pair you guessed it it was black on white. I have now sharpied the white on black just hope it stays

DO NOT BUY THESE!! TERRIBLY MADE!! As much as I like these shoes, I’ve had them for 2 months and they are already damaged. I just finished glueing a completely blown out piece of the side back into the shoe hoping it holds. The shoes look great and they are moderately comfortable to exercise in. I use them for walks and don’t remember catching them on anything. There is little to no scuffing one the shoes, so I’m not sure why they would have come apart there. ** update** I wore these a couple more times out and about once the damage appeared, the repair did not hold and not the tread is separating from the bottom of both shoes.

The fit and feel are not the same as other UA shoes I have. I ordered size 9 (just like the other UA shoes I have) and they were too small—length and width. Sent them back and got a 9.5. Better but still a little tight on the width. The fit is not as comfortable as other UA shoes. Kinda feel cheaply made. I wear these every day for work and I can tell after a couple weeks these won’t last like the other UA shoes. I should’ve known when they didn’t fit and feel right on the first pair I ordered. So no, I won’t order these again and don’t recommend. Honestly, they are a $30-$40 shoe. If you get them for that price, order them. But remember, you get what you pay for.

Just did a relatively casual and flat 6 mile walk and boy by mile 3 I can just feel the back lip digging into my achilles area, just got home and it's not pretty there (and unfortunately it's a linear trail so I had to walk 3 miles out). There just needs to be better padding there as there are a part of the back of the shoe that's harder than the rest that's doing most of the damage. I've wore this for casual working days and it's...fine, so not giving this a 1 star. But running and longer walking in this is probably going to be out of the question for me going forward. Not a great first impression to me with Under Armour shoes.
