So far, no problems. Due to the size, it is far more difficult to open and close compare to standard golf umbrellas. While it is described as a two person umbrella, it barely covers two people. Granted, there is only so much coverage an umbrella can provide until the weight becomes an obstacle to use. I feel this umbrella has found the ideal balance between size, weight and quality. They did not sacrifice quality for weight. I do use it for walking with a second person, and it works better than anything else I've tried so far. It also works especially well at my kids outdoor games. It provides coverage for me when sitting in the sun from sun or rain (my other golf umbrellas do not cover all of next when sitting. Plus, it someone needs to scoot their chair next to me to hide from a passion g shower, it provides adequate coverage for us both. I do agree, this umbrella would be perfect if it had automatic opening.

Bought this for sport events coaching and during soccer games. During one windy and rainy game, it kept us dry ( Big enough for 2 people to squeeze under with chairs ) and even with some decent wind gusts the umbrella stayed in shape with no issues. However, Make sure you are holding on tight. When the wind is kicking up it wants to rip this right out of your hands. I think it's expected so it is, what it is. I will be purchasing another near the beginning of fall.

the post of the umbrella goes all the way up to my waist, and i'm 5'10", so it's pretty tall. while the double canopy is nice, it does take more time to wrap back into the velcro straps, yes, there are two straps, one for each canopy system. this is definitely not an umbrella you can operate with just one hand, just forget about it. but it is very sturdy and heavy duty. it's worth the price to me because of the size and quality of the product.

This umbrella's 68" canopy rating is SO MISLEADING! I'm not sure why umbrellas canopies are measured on the outside of the canopy, because the arc of the canopy greatly affects the measurement without providing you the real measurement you want - how much area is there UNDERNEATH the umbrella. Who cares if it's 68" across the top, if the measurement across underneath is only 52"! That's the space you have to stay dry! But this umbrella abuses the measurement system on a number of levels. First of all, the umbrella when opened is square not round; well almost square, the corners are clipped across so they don't form a perfect square. So when I opened it, I was really expecting this umbrella to be larger than my 60" Sun Mountain. But wait, it was smaller. NOTICEABLY SMALLER! Why? Because this umbrella has a larger arch and the measurement is made at the widest point which is corner to corner. When you go side to side, the measurement is significantly smaller than the corner to corner measurement. Don't be fooled by this imposter umbrella claiming a huge canopy!

I am giving 4 stars because on the rod, above the handle, is missing two silver beads that were on it, but fell off somehow. I used it this weekend for a rainy soccer tournament. It held up nicely in the rain. I really like the way it looks.
