This is a great backpack with a compartment on the bottom for shoes or something that shouldn't touch the other contents inside the main area. My daughter uses it as a school backpack in high school. The only flaw it has (hence the four stars instead of five) is that it's missing a key ring. Her house key is now loose inside the backpack, which is not ideal. There is always the chance of it falling out with something she pulls out. I cannot comment on water resistance, as she hasn't ever gotten wet enough this far. ... show more

UPDATE: unfortunately I had to return this backpack because it has very poor back support. The back is too pliable and not firm enough. This would probably be okay for someone who didn’t have back problems, though. - It’s surprisingly hard to find an adult laptop bag with a deep front pocket. After searching for a long time, this bag was a pleasant surprise! The front pocket is almost as deep as the actual bag. I wish that pocket had a zipper section though. That’s my only issue with the bag so far. The bag color also matched the pictures, which is great! It does have a weird smell - like a kid’s lunch bag that hot juice spilled in it - but hopefully that will disappear soon. ... show more
