I was searching for a safe letter opener, as I have the tendency to accidentally cut myself when using sharp objects. From what I can tell, these are very safe letter openers, and I like the colors! They are very easy for me to hold, though I have pretty small hands so that may not be true for everyone. However, they aren't the easiest to use. It took me a while to figure out how to use them at all without just tearing up the envelopes. And once I figured that out, I still had a hard time cutting the entire length of the envelope; I still struggled not to tear the end. I can use them pretty well now that I've had some practice, but it took a while! Overall, these are fine. I honestly do not feel very strongly about them one way or the other. They are a good choice for a small, safe letter opener and I would recommend them if that is what you're looking for. ... show more
